Good deal, you'd save a lifetime of water I reckon
Shame the kids throw-up around 3 minutes into the cycle.
After all the sloshing around they end up coming out worse than when they went in, and gotta hose down the washing machine too.
So many 1 Star reviews, be careful
Thanks OP, great space savings
as an owner of a washer/dryer combo machine:
General info: the dryer part of these washer/dryer combo does not dry the laundry fully, it will still be damp at the end of the cycle
also be careful with moisture management, washer/dryer combo are prone to mould due to the moisture and heat it generates
I have a washer dryer combo and I find that it dries fully unless it is overfilled
Agree- i think that why the wash capacity is 16kg while dry is 10kg with the same drum size
Straight drying after a wash cycle?
Yes
Nuh. There is a reason we don't have kettles/air fryer combos.
Pack twice as much into a chassis and you end up with something half as good.
Kettles have to be pickable and tip-able, air-fryers not so much, hence the combo does not exist. Lots of good brands have managed excellent Washer & Dryer Combos, it's quite common really, and a huge space saver as washers & dryers require a bit more space than kettles do.
You're right, but if you're space constrained, they're not a terrible option. We've had an LG washer/dryer combo for 4-5 years. Obviously not as good/convenient as having a good, separate washer and dryer, but I'm pretty happy with the performance of ours.
Main downsides are: the obvious, less efficient approach of not being able to have separate loads in both a washer and a dryer at the same time. The dry mode itself takes longer than a dedicated dryer. And the dry mode uses up a lot of water (as it dries with very hot steam)
If one day they pack heat pump dryer and washer together then it's different story.
It really exists in few countries by LG Brand hopefully LG launches heat pump washing combo in Australia soon
Woah that's good news then! I didn't know such thing already exist :) Looking forward to it
16 kg wash you could tell the kids to jump in with cloths on & save water on showers .
