mycar at Brandon Park, Vic have confirmed the annual Black Friday deal is returning this Friday 25 November 2022. (Update: mycar Brandon Park removed the deal page.)

On Friday 25 November 2022 book (a) online or by telephone with mycar between 12.01am AEDT and 11.59pm AEDT or (b) in store with mycar between 8.00am AEDT and 5.30pm AEDT for the purchase and fitment of any in stock Pirelli tyres and receive a discount of 50% off the recommended retail price of those tyres (Offer Tyres).

Offer Tyres must be booked to be fitted on a date between Monday 5 December and Saturday 17 December 2022 or between Wednesday 4 January and Tuesday 31 January 2023. If Offer Tyres are fitted outside of these fitment periods, the full cost of all the tyres in the transaction will be payable.

    If you not getting a payment screen keep refreshing - but have your afterpay account ready, so that they take the payment with less traffic.

    Hello. I finally managed to check out via Afterpay.

    On the blank checkout screen I kept refreshing and eventually it took me to a payment screen.

    Just confirmed my booking online, had to use afterpay since credit card wasn't showing up. Now I can finally sleep wooo

    Credit card option disappeared after i tried to put in credit card. So second time I managed to paid via Afterpay. Whomever handling the IT and their business analyst should get fired for such poor user experience.

  • I just got back through to the check out page after failing at CC option earler.

    Keep refreshing until you get back into the payment page. Use afterpay/Zip.
    It doesnt take long to set up an account.

    2 hours 31 minutes on the phone. I finally got to the front of the line. Good luck every one and good night. Also be nice to the people on the phone they are having a hard night.

    After 2.5 hours… I was in the payment page, and clicked on refresh and it kicked me out to the "You are in the Queue". Now I have 4578 people in front of me!

    Getting through to payment after booking a time and then nothing but a blank screen - in two different browsers. Tried repeatedly and the same every go. Anyone having the same issue? This website is HORRENDOUS!!!!!

    • Same here… but after one of my refreshes, it kicked me out to the "You are in a Queue" with over 4000 people before me.

        Yeah, I'm not refreshing. I just keep going back to the homepage and doing it all again. And I'm so tired I accidentally mixed up a letter in the plate so my car is now set to something completely different, which of course, I cant change because of this POS website. face palm

    Worried I'll get kicked out if I keep refreshing as mentioned above, so I keep going through the checkout process again but still no luck.

    • Had the same problem. Just keep going through checkout. Eventually it works.

      • did you have to book a new appointment each time?

  • Just keep refreshing. Then the cart page will show up again. Then go through the checkout again. Eventually the afterpay option comes up.

    • The issue isn't with Afterpay not coming up. It's the blank screen that appears as soon as you agree to the T&C's and click Checkout.

    • can confirmed this worked, I kept going to checkout and all of a sudden a payment page came up. Thank you

  • Disabled the adblocker I still had enabled (already had the other 2 disabled) and checkout page appeared on the next refresh. So make sure all your adblockers are disabled.

  • Just found out that four tires require 1.5 hour bookings. So I went back and put a drop-off to Pick-up time of 1.5 hours, then I got to the payment page. It may be a coincidence… but give it a go.

    • I only did 1 hour for 4 tyres, still worked fine. Used Zip and entered Flybuys number for the points as well.

      • It must have been a coincidence then :-( At least they got the checkout page working again.

    Okay - finally booked. A few tips for those still suffering!
    1. the queue times out after some time, it has nothing to do with how many times you refresh.
    2. If you get a blank screen on checkout - just keep hitting refresh (I kept pressing f5) until you get the checkout page - it will work eventually - I must have done this for about 15 mins.
    3. You do not need to go through booking a timeslot over and over again - just do it once and keep hitting refresh.
    4. Make sure you use Afterpay as payment method
    5. I am using Windows and Chrome as my browser
    6. I don't know if booking window makes a difference (I suspect not, but as an FYI, I allowed 1hr 45 mins)

  • After 3.5 hours and requeued twice after getting kicked out at 1am and had the phone line waiting for almost 2 hours, I finally managed to book.
    Keep refreshing and use Afterpay or Zip. Apparently there is no option to pay with CC or Paypal… maybe it is part of the issue why checkout is like an infinity loop.

  • 2 hours and 45 mins wait on the phone and finally got it, dragon sport is discontinued so powergy for 120 ea it is. Could sleep in peace now.

  • After clicking 'Add to booking' button, I am not able to see any cart tab on the screen.
    When i am trying to add more tyres, its giving error that 'I have already got 5 tyres in cart and i should amend cart'. But i am not able to see cart at all or proceed with the transaction.
    Where can i see the cart tab or how should I proceed to payment page?

    • I tried with a set of full priced tyres and the cart appears which allows me to proceed with the booking. Looks like the website isn't dealing well with the tyres that are on sale. I'm just continuing to add the tyres to the booking and see what happens…..hopefully it goes through soon.

      • I did the same thing to test.
        I'd imagine the Pirelli's are all sold out, even though the tags say "In Stock".
        My local store is pretty good so I'll give them a call in the morning and hopefully they can hook me up.

    • I got the same problem, keep hitting “add to booking” button for 30 mins already but still unable to add it >.<

      • Yeah same. After 30 minutes, I don't imagine this is going to work. I'm going back to bed before the sun rises. Will try again during the day but am not hopefully…. :(

  • What a joke. Plagued with issues, and this AFTER they tried to implement a staggered queue to limit the network traffic.

    Error with Pirelli when add to booking, if i add other brand tyre, it works.
    Completely waste of time!

    • Same. On Safari and not working at all if you add Pirelli, works beautifully for others. 😅

  • Was anyone able to book on the date 2/12/2022 or before?

    just reading the invoice and it states that
    "Please note: The tyre prices listed are valid for 7 days from 25/11/2022 and all other quotes are
    valid for 14 days."

    i've checked every other mycar location in my area and i'm only get available to book on 5th onwards.

    • What??? I remember reading this earlier bfr the dale and we had like until mid jan next year to fit it.

  • I keep on getting "Something Went Wrong, Please try again“. This is using internet explorer, chrome and microsoft edge. Any fix available?

    • It's happening to everyone, the site can't handle to onslaught.

  • I don't know how, I gave up after 30mins last night, just woke up and joined the online queue -4th in line, less than a minute wait, had stock and ordered. They have to be oversold/have a problem…

  • Yay, just got through on the phone, 1h 40 min wait, but ordered my set of tyres.
    Don't forget to ask the operator to send you an email with the quote ;)

    Edit , now I am worried, the quote is valid for only 7 days from today, but the phone girl said they had to order them in and won't be available until 10th December, hope they still honor the quote .

    They are unwilling to honour this offer as I can add any other option except "Pirelli".

    I waited for almost 1.5 hours to get in and found this.

    I can see the Pirelli tyres in multiple stores nearby Availablity in "From 1 Day" to "In Stock" But can't "Add to booking".

    I get "Something went wrong, please try again"

    If I try Kumho or Goodyear, it gets added to the booking fine. Fake Offer IMO, don't waste your time.

  • cant add tyres to cart is the problem now , and there is alink to call their call center instead of book now. no point in all the Q system if ultimately they are saying call

      I’ve just called a local store and they confirmed they can price match today only but have to go into the store to order and pay today. Might actually be quicker than using this website.

    • Just rang up Jax and they matched the price. Got a booking for next Wednesday.

    • Went into the Pymble store and was told to get a quote otherwise they don’t know what they are price matching.

    • Went to Jaxtyres store and they priced matched which was cheaper than mycar and placed the order and paid for it, which is way quicker than queuing up online.

      • How could it be cheaper? I thought price match should be the same price.

        • Not sure but it was $10 cheaper for each tyre.
