$1 for 5 chuppa chups, at BWS. About 1/2 price.
Witnessed and purchased at BWS Sherwood, Brisbane. Nothing mentioned on website, like all their snack deals.
They had new caramel flavour. :P
They also had James Boags Premium for $40 a carton, save $15. ;)
They would be close to expiry date. Otherwise BWS wouldn't put them on a deal like this. Also, BWS (drive thrus at least) are mostly outside and the shops get seriously hot. The chupa-chups sit out there all day in the sun.
To summarise - no deal. Product will be shoddy.
Assume less.
Although probably right about the sun factor.

Doubt a competitor would bother talking down a chupachup deal from a liquor store. Based on the tongue-in-cheek tone I'm guessing s/he's a current employee.
Having said that hard candy is basically coloured sugar… I doubt it's quality degrades that much. Unless your kids are some kind of chupachup connoisseurs I doubt they'll notice.
In the case of this BWS, and all others i visit in Brisbane, all your assumptions are incorrect. :/
Same price in Perth store, seems to be nationwide.. Also 24 x Guinness 440ml cans at $45 is cheapest i've seen in a long time

Ahhh no, pick them up next time you're buying liquor.
A liquidators store near me sells bags of 40 chuppa chups for $2, but they are Vietnamese ones. (apparently coles sells the same ones at full price)

Cool stuff. Ignore the "ice-cream" flavour ones though, they're quite crap. Strawberry and watermelon all the way!
