Cool story bro but not a valid reason to neg a deal tbh

    • +7

Been driving for 40 years, never had an accident …may cancel my insurance ;)

      • +2

And don’t bother wearing seatbelt either

      • Dam if that's true you bloody should cancel your insurance if your that good.

    • Would ya have vaccinated if gov was givin some sort of incentive?

  • -6

    Tempted to buy it
    But

Why buy when no incentive by government to get tested.

May as well just remain un-tested and save $$. No point in spending money for it since its just gonna be collecting dust, Have not tested positive once despite any sicknesses. May as well be flu next time too.

and Why on Earth would someone want to loose work, and money by having to isolate for waiting for test? >80% of time just gonna be negative. At end you'll most likely find that you just wasted your $$.

Just chuck on a mask, if so sick and live on

Lol imagine believing that Covid-19’s an issue still.

    World has moved on.

    • +4

I am no advocate of fear mongering. But Covid is still not over.

      • -1

        it's over.

        • Fat lady still has some tunes to belt out mate. The world may have forgotten everything it learnt over the last few years but pathogens don't care about society's constructs. Heaps of people I know who have travelled recently have caught it, usually on the plane they reckon.

The unpopular government measures might be over, but covid hasn't gone anywhere, it's just mutated into less harmful but more infectious variants.

          • @Meconium: Less harmful is the key word. Covid is still out there but its not nearly as much a concern now

      • Over enough. Hence why we have heaps of cases now but we aren’t in lockdown. Even the mandatory stay at home is down to 4 days. So unless ur getting on a cruiseship. Life is good. Dont u remember xmas last year?

    • +2

Elderly and vulnerable are still in danger, are we giving up on them?

      • -1

No way. But how long do we treat them like inmates for? My aunt with dementia would rather enjoy her last few years of memories outside with her family instead of locked up in her nursing home. Let each individual decide what risk they want to take.

        • No one is treating them like inmates, it’s the other way around. Padding stops breakables in shipping, should we just stop using padding ?

        • -1

As Slavvy used to always point out, covid mainly affects the elderly. Awkward that you want to risk reducing the last few years of your aunts life to maybe last few weeks or days.

            @Ughhh: You must miss him, don't yah? ;) ;)

            • @Danstar: Just reminding you guys of what your shepherd said.

              • @Ughhh: No one asked; It’s ok to be sad.

                • @Danstar: I'm sorry that you're only allowed to say something when asked. I don't need to be asked to share my thoughts.

Yes, I was the one feeling sad about my aunty

                  • @Ughhh: Bring up what you want when you want; it's ok if someone lives rent free in your head ;)

    • +1

Lol imagine believing that sticking your head in the sand is a good way of avoiding the awful truth.

World can move on without you.

    • How many have died in Australia this year from covid? 7% of the UK population are estimated to have long covid. That's a huge number of people who can't go to work, study, enjoy life. Moved on where exactly?

      • From or with covid? What about the ones suddenly dying?

    • +1

Exactly; if you died tomorrow, so what, the world has moved on.

    • -1

Spot on. All these clowns still treating Covid seriously.

Our dog at home can test us.

  • -2

Even at this price not interested. They arent even accurate. Orange juice has tested positive lol

    • LOL, not it hasn't. In any case, they tell you not to eat or drink for a period prior to taking a RAT.

Sure, they're not perfect, but they're better than nothing.

      • No i mean they tested a glass of juice and came back positive. Im unsure if it was a rat or pcr test tho.

I guess but its a waste if they aren’t reliable.

        • That's like you testing yourself for opioids test (like heroine etc) after having poppy seeds ofcourse you'll return positive to that test even though you never had opioids.

The test is significantly dependent on what it is testing.

These ones in particular are not meant to test OJ or tap water. they are supposed to test human saliva/throat swab etc.

        • It's a waste of time if they're accurate too, lol.

    • +2

Orange juice is a relatively very acidic substance. Generally speaking if you mix chemicals wildly outside their intended application you may get unintended consequences.

This brought to you by a year 9 education level. You must have dropped out very early.

Election over. Must be time to start the nonsense again. BAAA!!!
