660
BRANDSOFF5Top7offSNSMD2...

The Previous deal got me looking around for Samsung sound bars due to their high rtings scores.

Found this sound bar on a good deal at Ebay. I had a Targeted voucher as well available with me. SNSMD2RXTMNNQJ7M
If this doesn't work, please check please try BRANDSOFF5 or habe a look at your ebay summary page for additional vouchers available to you.

Free delivery to select areas.

This is the highest tier Samsung bar before satellites are bundled with.

According to rtings it is on par with the Bose Smart Soundbar 900 with Speakers + Bass Module worth around $3000(rtings.com)
So pretty good deal considering the price.

I paid with discounted gift cards. Waiting for it to be delivered.

Not sure when this will end or go out of stock.

Not sure if you can combine cashback, shopback etc

Note- this bar is retailing around $699 on major retailer stores.

Got this in the last deal, only came last week.
    Kicks bum.

Seems like my good guys real cash didn't work though

My Q930B order at amazon got cancelled but I bought it for $729 at TGG last week. Realy enjoying it.

      • Nice, wish I needed satellites

      • Did you get q930B for $729 at TGG? And was it TGG commercial?

        • +1

Yes I managed to price match with ebay at TGG. Not TGG commercial

  • +1

Thanks op, that sns code is different per account. My code was SNSMD27TKPV5SM7M

  • How do you get the sns code?

    • +1

It's a targeted eBay plus code.

    • +1

Click My eBay Summary. If you have it, it will show up there.

    Awesome price
Top7off works as well bringing it to $584.97

    • Wouldn't let me stack. You doing it in the app?

      • I used in app and works.

  • +4

$26 postage to perth! ouch. I have ebay plus

  • I kept waiting for another deal on these, then finally bought the Q930B's from Samsung EPP for $759 (inc $50 sign up voucher). If I'd know this was coming I would have held off. Great deal!

    • Q930B is not worth $200 more than Q800?

      • +1

I wouldn't pay $200 for satellites in my situation

      • The satellite speakers probably wont work well in my living space. If I can use the system without them, I may keep them stored for my next house.
If i could do it hassle free, I'd happily swap for the q800b + $180.

        • +1

Of course you can use the system without the rear speakers. My living room is not big so I only use them for movies at night. I paid $729 for Q930B and I think $160 for them is worth it. But I wouldn't pay $200 for them.

  • Thanks, had one on order for the last 3 months with TGG for $800, bought this one and will cancel my forever delayed order.

    • +1

Good thinking. I waited 2 months with tgg then during travelling had them transfer the roster to a brissy store with stock and was in and out in 8 minutes.

  • Is it worth the upgrade over Q700B?

    • +1

      Yes imo. More channels

recently bought jbl bar 5.0 with $445 by price match in jbhifi, very happy with the sound. Compared this also in the store, and my ears are not designed to judge which is better.

  • If I sign up for eBay Plus would I get this for $569 or is it only targeted?

    • I don't have eBay plus and I had one of those SNS codes in my account so got it for 569.

I'm wondering, I know this soundbar supports DTS:X and DTSHD, but my LG CX/C1 apparently don't. and my Sonos system doesn't. But many of my UHD BRs still do… is DTS being phased out? I don't understand whats going on…

    • Many(most?) TVs don’t support DTS these days. If you want DTS, you have to plug in the DTS source directly to soundbar, so sound doesn’t go via TV

    • My B7 supports DTS:X/MA perfectly fine, odd that they removed it from the C1.

      B7 support: WMA/MPEG-1/MPEG-2/MP3/Dolby Digital/Dolby Digital Plus/LPCM/ADPCM/DTS/DTS-HD/AAC/Dolby Atmos
      C1 support: HE-AAC, AAC, MP2, MP3, PCM, WMA, apt-X, LPCM, MPEG-1, AC3(Dolby Digital), Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby AC-4

  • A message regarding a concern for the LG tv users interested in getting this Samsung Model. (or any non-Samsung TV user)

    Features that don't work:
    - Wireless True Dolby ATMOS & DTS:X
    - Total Sound Collaboration
    - Samsung Q-Symphony
    - SpaceFit Sound+

If I'm not mistaken, Total Sound Collaboration and Samsung Q-Symphony are quite essential features.

    • Total sound collaboration = it uses the TV speakers to add to the sound in sync with soundbar
Q-symphony = motion/object tracking sound (dependent on tv model)

I guess it’s up to individual opinion where such features are really ‘essential’ or not

      • I forgot to include SpaceFit Sound+ in my final line.

In the description of Total Sound Collaboration, it says "sound tailored to your space and synchronised to the speakers".
I imagine it does a minor variation of SpaceFit Sound.

The Rtings reviews include some of these features, whilst the LG Rtings rating was fairly raw and the reviewer didn't represent it fairly with another LG device.

I should probably look at older soundbar posts to find a user with a similar older TV who has tried both brands technically(unlikely…).

    OP Says:
"This is the highest tier Samsung bar before satellites are bundled with."

    Isn't the Samsung HW-Q900A model a 7.1.2 without satellites?

    • Pretty sure the A on the end means it is last years (2021) model, so while I think it is higher end, don't think they officially sell it anymore.

      • Do the 2022 models have any performance changes? I believe they changed the materials on the grill, which was for aesthetic reasons. (I could be thinking of the LG line-up on that particular change)

    • The only Q900As selling today are more expensive than the Q930B. The Q930B is pretty much the Q900A plus the 2.0.2 rear satellites.

  • Get this over the 3year old YAS108 OR

    Now $566.10 with code PLUSFLASH2

  • Bought from the recent Samsung deal, but Samsung didn't want to price match or offer credits for the price difference from this offer.

  • Anyone got a tracking number for this yet? They seem to be taking their time.

    • Nope.
EBay says end of the month. So now we wait.

  • My order is still not shipped according to eBay order status. Waiting … waiting … waiting …

    • Got mine delivered over a week ago via TNT.

      • Nice!
        Did you set it up?
What TV brand do you have?

        • Yeah I did, paired it with Samsung The Frame, very nice so fare

          • @ziva: Excellent, you have a SSung so you'll get all those bonus features. I'll miss all those on mine, but those are nice to haves, not must haves.

  • Not shipped yet, still waiting

  • "…status of your order is that it's transferred from the 3rd party warehouse to our store. Current ETA to store is early next week. Once received, it will be dispatched to you immediately. We aim to dispatch all our orders earlier than the advertised ETA. We will provide you with delivery tracking details once dispatched."

  • Got shipping notification finally. Though to be fair, estimated delivery was 22-28 November, so it's in line with that.

    • Still nothing for me.

      • Bugger. Just had mine delivered.

        • +1

          Awesome!
Set it up and let us know what it sounds like!
