    Again?

I hope they do the 30%-40% that happened earlier this year. That was awesome. I don't bite at 20% unless I can stack with amex etc.

    • +3

Especially with the price rises… 20% off doesn't cut it for me anymore

The 2000 bonus fly buys points (worth $10) on a $50 spend help reduce cost…

        • +1

Not sure if this was there yesterday but glad you commented on it. Makes it much more worth it!

          • @Chocobros: Nope, the offer only started today. (I just posted it as a deal.)

  • hope you're all living

Pretty sure there are a few zombie accounts on OzBargain, but sometimes it’s the hungriest ones that get the best deals

    • +2

Clearly I was barely living when I posted this last night, though I wouldn't put it past OzBers to crawl out of a grave to get the best stacked offer

You'd get a better response if you sent a pm to the rep on here requesting an update instead of venting on twitter and then threatening them with dept of fair trading in a post on here…

        • No probs. Didn't neg you fwiw and I'm in a similar position with a bws cashback but it says expected date Jan 2023 for the missing cashback claim.

Ill wait until closer to then and then I'll pm too!

    @GYB

    Here are your Q's:

    1. The body of your post says that the Vintage Cellars upsize expires on November 5 but the deal expiry date is November 4. Which is it?
    2. You stated that outside the Flash Sale hours, the cashback for First Choice Liquor is 14%. It is currently outside the Flash Sale hours, but I'm only seeing the normal up to 2% rate.
    3. You stated that the cap is per order. Wait, what?! You seem to be saying that the 20% First Choice Liquor Flash Sale is essentially uncapped provided you spend no more than $110 per transaction! 👍🏻

      Hey mate!

      1. Yeah, that's my bad, I didn't update the expiry properly, will fix now.
      2. I've just now noticed that too, it was definitely 14% at midnight as I checked before I posted to be sure all was working correctly. Checking in with our ops team on this now.
      3. Yep, unless stated otherwise most caps will refer to per order and allow for multiple orders to come through.
  • Dear @gotyourback, just saw an email on bonus flybuy update :)))
"Collect 2,000 Flybuys Bonus Points when you spend $50 with Click & Collect!"

Adding to the post body now :)

So, what's at FCL that's cheaper after 20% off than at Dan's or Aldi?

Genuine question, as all I'm usually interested in is already cheaper elsewhere. Looking for ideas to spend $.

    • +1

James squire pale Ale carton is showing the same price as everywhere else for me, so I'll be getting that.

  • Perfect timing to stack with the CoolCabana deal! https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/734414

  • @gotyourback same as issues raised above, I read your post and just made an order today on First Choice based on your post saying 14% outside Flash Sale and expiry set to midnight today (Sat).

However just checked and cashback is set at 2%?
You were made aware of it yesterday and edited parts of your post but the 14% remained.

I trust Shopback intends to honour it and adjust affected tracking??

    • Hey mate, sorry for the delayed reply! Apologies for the confusion here, the expiry for the 14% was only valid for the 4/11 outside the flash hours of that sale, but the Vintage Cellars offer expired on the 5/11 at midnight. Sorry for any confusion I've caused there, send me a DM with your order number and I'll gladly help out.

  • 20% CB for First Choice Liquor order didn't track for me.
Can't raise missing CB yet, so contacted GYB.

Very likely something wrong with FCL - because I did get an additional email from FCL 1 hour after the order was placed and paid and confirmed via email. That additional email siad "your drinks are waiting in your cart" (although fully paid + confirmed an hour before, paid with PayPal).
Still annoying as I will be missing out on more than $10 cashback if this doesn't get sorted.

    • The shopback page does say tracked in 2 days, so wait another day or two to see. Mine hasn't tracked yet either.

      • Mine has just tracked roughly an hour ago.
I was worried because my partner's one almost tracked instantly. So it did eventually track.

  • When will we know the shopback frenzy flash deals?

    • +2

I'll be posting the best ones the second they go live.
