Important Information

1. Additional cardholders must be 16 years of age or older and an Australian resident. You will be liable to pay for all transactions made by an Additional Cardholder. The earning of Points is subject to the terms and conditions of the rewards program you are enrolled in. If you have a Linked Diners Club Card, your Additional Cardholder will also receive a Linked Diners Club Card.

2. To be eligible to receive 10,000 bonus Qantas Points per additional cardholder you must be the original recipient of this email and apply for and be approved for an additional Card from 1 November 2022 to 31 December 2022, and the Additional Cardholder must make an Eligible Transaction by 31 January 2023. 10,000 bonus Qantas Points per additional cardholder will be credited to your account within 12 weeks from the date the Additional Cardholder makes an Eligible Transaction provided that your Account is open and in good standing. Please note that if you have a balance transfer you will be charged interest on any spend.

3. Eligible Transaction is defined in the Rewards Program Terms and Conditions you are enrolled in and means any purchase excluding (but not limited to) Cash Advances, Balance Transfers, Special Promotions, BPAY payments, government related transactions and all other transactions set out within the full definition. Government related transactions include transactions with government or semi-government entities, or relating to services provided by or in connection with government (for example but not limited to transactions made at Australia Post, payments to the Australian Taxation Office, council rates, motor registries, tolls, parking stations and meters, fares on public transport, fines and court related costs).
   Please note that whether or not a transaction is eligible will be determined based on card scheme information ultimately provided either by the merchant (including individual outlets) or its financial institution (including information about the type of business conducted by the merchant). This means that, for example, spend with certain merchants may be characterised as spend with a government related entity and therefore not an eligible transaction, even if that merchant is not in fact a government related entity.
