Very good set at possibly lowest price point.

Quality in a set: quality standard set of pliers for use when out and about
Three important pairs of pliers for holding, cutting, positioning and pulling

Combination pliers, diagonal cutters and needle nose pliers have become classics in the Knipex range for a good reason. They offer many benefits and a long tool life in demanding continuous use. During instalation work, frequent operations include the holding, gripping, cutting, bending and positioning of components. The three forged and oil-hardened pairs of pliers in the Assembly Set are perfect for these tasks.

Yeah, I don't think this one's a smoking deal. If you need a good starter set it's alright, I guess, but I think some 200mm diagonal cutters would be much better than 160 for a starter set.

      • Yeah the combination pliers are also too small in my opinion.

  • Lost control today. Combined this deal with the Knipex Electronic Super-knips to get both for $102. Bought the Wera metric L-key hex set for $19 this morning.

Waiting for a good deal on a basic Wiha screwdriver set.

Thanks, think these are the cheapest prices for knipex tools, just spent $600 on a bunch of Knipex stuff…

  • Just be wary that these are not vde rated and I personally would not use them for any electrical work.

Is German industry having a closing down sale?

Europe is in recession, thanks to the American.

    • More like thanks to the Wuhan and to our governments' overspending during covid.

      • +2

…which still comes back to American plans, haha

  • Do you have to pay any after fees or taxes?

Also, any good deals on knipex cobras?

I just bought the Knipex VDE tools instead of this, it was a little bit more expensive but I felt it was better spent.

    • got a link?

It’s individual links, but I bought these

        • Thanks for the links.
Unfortunatly the combined cost of $150 is more than a 'little bit' of this deal being $92

          • @xb99: My bad I suppose, combined it’s $122 with the 12% discount.

          • @xb99: If you replace the above pliers with these non high leverage pliers then it’d bring the price down to 105 or so.

You can get the same combination of NWS pliers made in Germany (supposedly similar quality) for $75 at Bunnings:

    • I have these and they're pretty good. Haven't tried Knipex though
