        • it was last week's Tuesday sale

Their support is so awful. If there's anything wrong with your product and you need to contact kogan cs, it's a real pain in the neck.

Last time I contacted kogan cs (submitted videos and photos showing faults and defects since it states it apparently speeds up the process) and wrote multiple paragraphs explaining the issue. Rep's response? 'explain in detail the problems and upload photos or videos'. Literally. It's like they never even read my inquiry…

Just copy paste your response back to them.

      • I wrote some of it again and am still waiting for a response… It's been 5 days since they last replied to me

    • Weird. I've had them send out a replacement ladder and festoon lights pretty effortlessly. I did contact them straight after my items were delivered and I got my replacements within a week. My association with Kogan had no influence as once was prior to me being associated. And my association is via their third party marketing consultants.

      • Lucky you, i guess it depends on the rep

    • I hate kogan more than the average Joe but even me, the only issue I had with shipping specifically was I bought a couple arcade machines and one didn't have the bolts for the stool that came with it…they sent me a whole new arcade machine as a replacement that I then flipped on marketplace for 700, so I'm not implying you didn't have shit service, you more than likely did, I'm just saying I've had decent experience so far

      • which machine did you get?

        • Bought Simpsons and OutRun. Simpsons was missing the screws for the stool. I told them, they said it was something to take up with Arcade1Up. I forgot about it for a couple weeks, emailed Kogan back saying I spoke to 1Up and they said it's you guys' problem (don't (profanity) pawn me off to someone else, you're the seller, it's your responsibility, (profanity) off) and then the guy said he'd ship the replacement parts. Week or so later, whole new arcade is just sitting on my front deck when I got home from work.

I had a different experience recently. Clothes Dryer had developed a noise after 9 months. Emailled Kogan, they sent out a service guy who looked at it on site and took it away. 4 days later they delivered a new one to me. Maybe I just got lucky.

      • Seems like you got lucky with your rep.

Rant: I've had other issues. Eg i bought some items but once they arrived i realised it was different to what was in the description (misleading advertising, imo). Like if the official product name for an item has 6 words in it, kogan would use only 1 word or of the 6.it took weeks for them to agree with me and send me a prepaid return label

I had an issue long time ago when they didn't even have a warehouse here in Australia. I bought a Samsung phone but they sent me a used one there are a couple of save wifi on the phone. I contacted them they refused to send me a new one and they only gave me $50 credit. the phone I paid is more than $500. I haven't use Kogan much after than

      • Things have changed a lot. Unfortunately their original reputation has stuck with a lot of people but in some ways I find them as helpful as Amazon with being quick to address issues

    • I've also had good experience with their support, maybe they have improved things. Bought a baby monitor that broke after falling down from a height (partly our fault), they were happy to send a replacement right away.

    • Thanks! Just got it

  • Would this be too big for a 1 year old?

      I say so

    • Buy and keep for later. Unlikely to find a better deal.

That is one high parental expectation.

  • How does it go with taking it off any sweet jumps?

    • Front falls off.

      • Wasn't this built so the front doesn't fall off?

  • for $20 are the ok?

  • Damn! Sold out! Can anyone recommend anything else?

    • I’ve got three kids and they were all riding without training wheels at 3 years old. Get a balance bike. We used the strider brand one. Did all three kids with the same bike then sold it after the last kid was riding on a proper bike. They just scoot around for a year or two and they naturally learn through least resistance to glide, put their feet up and roll. Put em on a pedal bike once they’re gliding around with their feet up and off they go.

      • Well we have 2 balance bikes but it's hard for him to learn because we're in a slopey area so he's like walking it rather than letting it roll. That's why I thought traditional bike with training wheels will be more fun whilst learning the basics.

        • +1

That’s how they do it. They walk around until they can roll. All good, it’s kinda dangerous and scary when they start peedling without training wheels at three. We had one bad crash out of the three kids, due to them loving excessive speed. There’s some benefits to doing it the old way and using training wheels and learning to ride without them later in life.
