Some more good prices for the newly released Intel 13th Gen CPU's.
Separate deal for the 13700k/kf cpu's as it's cheaper with this 17% off code only.
If you have don't have eBay Plus you are better off with my other deal HERE

i7-13700K OOS.
Wow i've been out of the game so much, a 5.0Ghz boost on stock :O that used to be a crazy overclock back in the day and wow the core count/thread count. Time to do some research. These days tho, do you really need a cpu that powerful, unless video editing…. hmmm
I think Intel is doing some pretty exciting things. In 3 generations the i5 xx600k has gone from 6 cores 12 threads to 14 cores 20 threads!
Yeah it's pretty impressive.
It manages to beat AMD's 8 core in productivity while consuming about the same power

It's also cheaper. Sorry for double posting, I'm just excited.
Its just…. house repayments > new pc requirements hahaha needs vs wants
Honestly I'm holding on to see how Arc turns out too. Looks very early stages but still promising if it gets the hw and sw support it needs.
I'm on a 10600k and 3070ti. My next rig will probably be a 15600k and potentially 3rd Arc at this point
@ketchakid: Oh youre so close to me, 9700k with a 3080 :P I would have held out on this build but had to rush so I could provide a hand me down
I mean back in the day an i7 was $300 lol
Thought I was going Ryzen 7000 but after checking all benchmarks for my workflow guess I'm going Intel now. Competition is so good for the industry.
Yep. Ryzen 7000 is a big let down thus far with very expensive motherboards and RAM for little apparent gain. Thought I’d be looking at an AM5 for next build but it’s looking like Intel is the way to go.
There is the argument that you get an upgrade path down the line for ryzen 7000 mobos while intel is probably going to another mobo next gen. But yeah Intel is putting in some work this time around and ryzen gains dont seem as promising as they have been previously. With the exception of 3d vcache of course.
Im upgrading from the i7-8700K to the i7-13700K pick up the CPU this morning from UMART for $753
I have the same 8700k looking to upgrade, what motherboard did you chose for your 13700k?
I'm tempted - can you let us know your thoughts re: performance?
Might take a few weeks I cant afford to layout $2500+ all at once so I'm buying piece by piece
Fractal Design Meshify S2 case - $99
Intel i7 13700K CPU - $753
Corsair RM750x PSU - only a few months old no need to buy another one. Hopefully 750w is enough
GigaByte RTX 3060ti GPU - I was stupid and paid at the peak so im stuck with it for now. I will eventually upgrade it to a 4000 series gpu
Two motherboard options not sure what ill go with yet :
ASUS ROG Strix Z790-E LGA 1700 Gaming WiFi ATX Motherboard - $959 at UMART
ASUS TUF Gaming Z790-Plus WiFi D4 LGA 1700 ATX Motherboard- $579 at UMART
Not 100% committed to these parts yet:
Corsair 32GB (2x16GB) Dominator Platinum Black RGB C36 5600MHz DDR5 DRAM - $419 at UMART
Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE 360mm RGB AIO Liquid CPU Cooler Black - $279 at UMART
ASUS TUF Gaming Z790-Plus WiFi D4 LGA 1700 ATX Motherboard
That's a DDR4 Motherboard btw and a quite expensive one too as it the overkill Z790-E, Any particular reason you have your eyes set on them?
Corsair 32GB (2x16GB) Dominator Platinum Black RGB C36 5600MHz DDR5 DRAM
https://www.amazon.com.au/G-Skill-Trident-PC5-51200-CL32-39-…
You should check this out for $60 more Trident Z5 6400mhz cl32, Dominator ram is always overpriced for the performance you get.
Personally i went 13700k with the cheap Z690M Aorus Elite AX DDR4 motherboard and use my current 32gb DDR4 3600 CL14 trident z ram and a saving of $428 vs if i went with what i chose for DDR5 Ram and MB.
@Axelstrife: I normally make a list and spend a couple weeks arguing with myself about what i should get I haven't decided motherboard or ram yet
Is there any reason to get 6400mhz over 5600mhz ?
@Colonel Sanders: Usually a few % better performance with faster ram.
Id even got for https://www.amazon.com.au/G-Skill-PC5-48000-CL36-36-36-96-F5…
This ram kit that's still faster than the Dominator and cheaper.
dont need it
still tempted
