This is by far one of the most beautiful box sets out there, I got one from Amazon a while back and the shipping is proper. A massive big box with amazon packaging followed by another box, inside it another box with it's corners protected by foam padding and inside is this beautiful box set.
The illustrations are very nice, so are the pages they are printed on. The dust jackets have nice illustrations on them. But the coolest part is how there's a magnet on the box to help it stay shut.
A must buy for any Akira/ Manga fan/ collector.
Correct, this was how mine was shipped as well. Rest assured that it arrives in mint condition if you're a collector.

Akira my favorite. But the movie… meh
I know this collection is how it was intended but I personally prefer the original reprints from the 80's/90's from Marvel/Epic!
Was great at the time… but a lot more impressive titles have come out since. That's progress I guess.
