Found this offer while looking to book my trip to NZD and thought I'll share it :)
This coupon is only valid for bookings made via the dedicated Visa website accessible to eligible Visa cardholders. Use this coupon to get 8% off the price of your booking at a participating Price Match Guarantee hotel when you stay between 1 and 28 nights.
You must pay for your stay when you make the booking. The discount only applies to the first room in the booking. You’ll need to pay the full price for any other rooms. The discount doesn’t apply to any taxes, fees or additional costs.

As most (all?) coupons at hotels.com this one cannot be combined with hotels.com rewards which are 10% of the booking price (w/o taxes, fees etc).
So this is only worthwhile going for if you don't collect hotels.com rewards.
