I grabbed the 35kg Black Lord dumbbells about 2 weeks ago for $29. From Ebay (oz-g-day)
Quality was acceptable, one small defect on one of the plugs of the weights but made no difference on its function otherwise nice and sturdy.
Dumbbell bars are slightly long and can be awkward during some exercises but you can load more weights on it.
Bar ends screw on nice and tight.
This 7in1 set seem neat and a great deal for $79.
Assuming these are covered concrete weights, not iron for the price, right?
Does it make a difference functionally?
Long term if they crack from being dropped it can be messy but then metal ones just rust.
yes covered concrete, they do smell slighty when first opened.

I don't have this specific brand but another generic one and can tell you that the bar ends get loose very quickly.
Just to be clear , they call them “adjustable”, but it’s a standard bar , spinlock and weights.
By that definition I’ve never seen a “non adjustable” barbell. Well, maybe one of those 1920’s strongman ones 😀.
You can however convert one of the dumbbells into a makeshift kettlebell.
this could be a Dave Chappelle episode… like his Nostradamus.. i cant type that one out..
Would pick this up but they've change the listing (same link) to the 20kg set. Even shows on eBay as 40kg till you click it so I'm guessing they're trying to trick some sales..
Hmm yes I ordered it. They sent me 8x 2.5kg weights. I emailed them back as did not receive any bars and missing 20kgs. Here's hoping they deliver.
I got the same package today and thought the samething, I check the order details on my ebay is says that there is 2 packages to be delivered.
Did anyone else receive their package but missing weights? My one has a bunch of 3.5kg weights which add up to 20kg.
