    • Team member discount on the receipt. Do not use it here. Using it makes the purchase to be profitable.

      • 100% cashback, so the discount isn't of any use as you are getting back fully how much you pay …
        But yeah I understand what you are conveying, some might use their team member card by mistake and get trapped …

        • The issue is simple when only one item is purchased, but it'll be more complicated to calculate when multiple items are purchased in one transaction.

      • For Coles TD is applied at the bottom of the item list as a lump sum discount, not at individual item levels. I used a TD and claimed the full retail price (i.e. the price shown next to the item) without issue.

        Simple, you just get back more than what you have paid for.

        • I paid $24.70 after discount and that's what I claimed back, so hopefully it goes through as there aren't really any discrepancies warranting a closer look.

              • @thepooler: This is a refund for coffee as I don't think BWS sell coffee, at least non-alcoholic ones. I think you are talking about the refund for 4-Pack Smirnoff Seltzer Cocktails ;)

                • @neil: yep lol, I definitely got the two threads confused. I had two bags of coffee beans and two packs of smirnoff in my trolley that day.

          • @thepooler: I used a team discount at Coles and just claimed the price on the right next to the actual item.
            I don't think their software is smart enough to apply the discount across multiple items and calculate the right price. If the item price is $26 and you put in $24.7, I can guarantee you that it won't get automatically approved.

    Bought 2x 1kg Medium bags at coles separately, scanned the two receipts with phone (same flybuys) and got both claims (different name email numbers) validated almost instantly.

    Digital Mastercard sent to both emails then sent to SMS and added to google pay after installing the TCN app.

    • I did same thing. Did multiple see split payments and the receipt was about 1m long, lol.

      Only need capture the top bit as long you have the product, price, name of store, abn.

      Got approved no problem.

    … They're bloody awful, but I was out of coffee beans and my nice ones haven't arrived in the mail yet so this was a good fix.

  • Trying to activate my digital card, SMS from TCN for verification code to login to their app never arrives :-(

    • Are we to receive 2 SMSes? One to activate the TCN gift card and another one for the digital MasterCard? I received only the one to activate the gift card which gave me the gift card number and PIN and a link to activate the card. Clicked that link and was advised to get an SMS for the digital corporate card via SMS. I didn't receive this one.

      Resolved mine. Thanks to a post in Choice community:

      The problem is the naming of the TCN App “activation code” as a “customer service reference” in the original SMS.
      That number needs to be put into the TCN App when starting your account. That will take you to the next page where you can add the card to both the TCN App and the wallet of your choice.
      If you’ve arrived at the page asking for the SMS “verifation code” you’ll need to start again by “Adding an account”, then put in your phone number but this time put the “customer service reference” into the “activation code” field.

      I hope that help.

      For people who have installed the TCN app for the 1st time just for this offer:

      1. You need to logout of the TCN app and then log back in again using your mobile number.
      2. You will be sent an activation code (to activate the TCN app) in an SMS.
      3. Once the TCN app is activated, you can then activate the Mastercard by using the Moccona reference number (from the SMS) as an activation code for the card.

      To summarise, the TCN app needs to be activated 1st then add/activate the Mastercard.

      Hope this helps :)

      • For those who still encounter issue like me, first uninstall and reinstall the TCN app, then follow the instructions above, ie activate app then activate card.

  • Just bought from Coles and then realised when it asked if I wanted the receipt I said no - doh…
    Scanned Flybuys card, anyone know if I'll be able to get a copy of receipt?

    • Go to the service desk and see if they can retrieve the receipt. I've had that happen at self-checkout where the printer jammed or ran out of paper.

      • I think the checkout assistant can reprint the last receipt on the spot if requested. I have witnessed a shoplifter who only scanned a couple of items and put the rest on the trolley. The checkout assistant noticed the irregularity and reprinted the receipt straight away.

    Got the beans. I'd never noticed them before. They are made by JDE who also make Harris and multiple other tea/coffee brands.
    Waiting on email wasn't instant like some others have stated.

      • I claimed twice for two genuine purchases today. Email came after 3-5 mins.

        I claimed two rewards for Yoplait too. Email came after 3-5 mins.

        The promotion pages look very identical and both reward cards are issued by TCN.

        Maybe your receipt is unclear for the automated process?

        • I think you may be right. My receipt looks like the printer ran out of ink on the left side so it's a bit faded and I took the photo on a slight angle to avoid the phone shadow.
          But now I can't re-submit it!

  • Sorry everyone, I read the thread but still am clueless, what is a digital MasterCard?
    I have a CBA MasterCard (physical) that is in my iphone wallet, does this qualify?

      Doesn't matter what you pay with coins, gift card, credit card etc. Your refund will be in a form of Mastercard that will need to be added to Google Wallet or Apple Pay. You can then use that card wherever Mastercard is accepted.

    • You can just use the digital MasterCard number to purchase something online. You will find the card details in the TCN app.
