A few weeks ago this was on clearance pricing in SA costco - $49.97 or so iirc. Not sure if they're still there though.
Does anyone use this for grocery shopping? I prefer to walk to do my shop, instead of driving. My local Coles car park is an absolute sh!tshow.

Really!?? I would say its 20% with trolleys. 40%+ when they cant be bothered opening checkouts.
If you know how to properly manoeuvre a beach cart then this would not be an inconvenience in a regular ColesWorth (not express stores though!). Just keep in mind the 2 wheels closest to you will always be fixed, regardless if you are pushing or pulling so this will affect handling. Also if you are pulling you will need to make sure you ‘go wide’ on turns and keep an eye on this behind you to make sure you aren’t clipping aisle corners, or worse, people. In the self serve area just make sure you keep it close you and your terminal, not jutting out and it shouldn’t be any worse than trolleys, of which my local always has plenty (they force people to use it by only having 1 of 8 assisted checkouts open). Anyhoo spatial awareness is key. Otherwise stick to the 2 wheel ‘granny’ grocery carts. They would usually be sufficient unless you do big shops.

I grabbed one in store WA just then but at checkout i only paid $47.99. thought i scored a bargain but now I'm worried it's not the same as the box says max load 45kg, although pictures are identical.
