Moi aussi! Hope my ankles won't get scrapped by the lower tray.

I have had one of these for years and use it to sit at my sewing table. Solid and easy to use.

  • Your toes will hate you for all eternity.

    • Because of the raised edge down the bottom? This isn't really tall enough to rest your feet there, and you're probably going to be wearing shoes anyway.
The reason there's a rim is so you can put tools and loose screws there.

Get this if you want to put a big plant pot on wheels. Most plant pot trolleys aren't heavy-duty enough but this works out great. Just drilled some holes into the plate for drainage and now my dwarf lemon tree pot sits on it and can be moved as required.

    • Big one yeah?

    • Could always install castors onto the pot? I have an avocado in a half wine barrel which is on 5 castors. Move it out of the sun on those 40+ days and frosty nights.

  • support up to 110kg

    Hmm 🤔

  • Have one of these for polishing lower panels, headlights, working on door trims etc.. and its a great buy.

Whether you get this one (as I did a while back) or something similar, it's turned out to be one of the most useful "tools" I thought I'd never use.

Until I bought one, I never realised how often I was bending over to work on something such as topping up tyre pressure or adjusting the chain on my motorbike or cleaning the mud out of the derailleur of my MTB. It also made re-wiring my computer rack a breeze. Comfortably sitting at just the right height for a job that took 2-3 hours is not something to be sneezed at. Sure beats a sore back!

Sure, there are plenty of solutions to getting the work-piece at the right height, but mostly they are expensive and specialised, such as a motorbike lift.

If you work on anything lower than waist height, these things are a better idea than you think.

  • Could the lower bit of the seat use as a roller board to transport heavy things around places? How do you dismantle the seat from the lower part after installation?
