No kidding! Was thinking to get a Sennheiser momentum 4, but with this price hell I'll go for this.

Just as a heads-up unlike the Momentum 4, you can't use the PX7 in passive mode (wired and turned off) so you have to remember to charge the PX7s before using them. On the bright side, they have a quick charge feature that gives you 5 hours of use after 15 mins of charging.

If you use them via USB-C cable on phone or laptop etc, you can power/charge and listen simultaneously.

Just aware there is Bowers and Wilkins PX7 S2 so this one is 1st gen.

  • Shit - I have a big head and these headphones seem to be quite decent.

must.. resist.. buying, only just got in on the Apple Airpods Pro 2 deal for $319.. but you can never have enough headphones right??

    • What, $319?? How??

      • You missed the deal on Amazon.

        • Ahhhh I got these mixed up with the Apple over ear ones.

  • Seems to be $359.40 now?

I am getting the following error for all colours when adding to cart "Sorry, this colour / size combination is not currently available."

Seems they didn't have much stock to begin with

  • Thanks OP. Been researching for a new pair of headphones to replace my Taotronics TT-BH046 (starting to wear out), was checking out on $139 Sennheiser HD 450SE and $189 SoundForge Space Q45, but this premium brand Bowers & Wilkins has convinced to order one pair instead.

  • Damn I've been wanting a pair of the PX5 for so long…would have snapped these up ifI got in before the stock ran out!

  • OOS :(

  • Oh no it's already OOS what a pity!

poorly tuned. worse anc compared to sony and bose offerings.

Keep negging away at something you can't defend nor provide counterarguments for. Female vocals sound underwater and the bass bloats over every other part of the music

While the deal has expired, I thought I would share my experience with the PX7s and provide a heads up that its rumoured that PX8s will also be release soon.

I have had the PX7s for a couple of years, wearing them 8-10 hours every weekday and love them dearly. I don't find them uncomfortable and I love the sound signature (I listen to EDM and the low end is fantastic for this genre)

If I had any potential gripes with the PX7's:
    - The headband is quite tight, I have no issue but I have seen some users reporting discomfort
    - The Alcantara fabric on the outside has started to become unstuck and the material, while providing a nice hand feel, gets very dirty
    - Some report that the microphones don't live up to competitors. I have never had a complaint after an eternity on zoom
    - Unfortunately the mobile apps do not offer EQ controls

  • Ah damn. Was on a flight and missed this. Anyone wants to sell?

  • Back in stock but no longer on 40% off sale.

Anyway I received mine yesterday and wore them for like 3 hours last night listening to various genre of music. They are snug fit and comfortable, I guess my head and ears are of average size. The internet reviews kept complementing on their excellent sound quality with wide sound stage and great instrument separation, they are correct, I can hear the vocal and different musical instruments apart from each other more clearly compared to all the other audio devices I have owned.

    • Just sharing my personal experience thus far. I picked up mine last night and tested it this morning. The ear cup is big and the clamp force isn't too strong like other reviews stated online and I have a bigger head than average which is good news for me. Sound quality is decent to my liking, wish there was an option to adjust the EQ.

I tested a few other headphones such as QC45, 700 from bose and both XM4, XM5 from Sony as well as Momentum 3 at my local JB and I find the both the Sony's are quite good. My personal preference is actually the XM5 for how light and comfortable it is.. pretty much put it on and forgot you are wearing it kind of comfort level and having the ability to adjust EQ is a plus.

Overall I am still happy with the PX7 for this price - decent sound quality (much better than 700), very good battery life, quick charging etc. Noise cancellation is definitely not on the same league comparing to Sony.

      • Pretty close to those YouTube reviews. Sony did some kind of voodoo magic on ANC on their XM4 and XM5, no other brands can beat them, Apple AirPod Max comes close. A lot of reviewers find the Bose QC35 and QC45 are the most comfortable, more so than the Sony. In terms of sound quality, Sony and Bose are easy listening for most people, while audiophiles tend to choose Apple, B&W or Sennheiser. Not sure about Beats now a day, is it still just a name without any substance?
