    So I was thinking that more seasons of family guy will be coming out .. so why buy the box set now? Then I realised that newer episodes are in HD - ie will come in blu ray anyway (hopefully). So is this a good set in that it provides a clean break on those differences? I looked on Wikipedia but I'm pretty sure it's seasons are divided differently as it show season 10 ended in May this year -I'm sure this box set has been around before that. I'm not sure where to check further.

      Good point you've raised, however I personally wouldn't want to pay more for a cartoon just because its blu-ray, dvd quality is good enough for the laughs. Plus at $11.60 per season, you can't really go wrong

      Well, wikipedia says there are 147 episodes between season 1-8, so presumably this box only covers those seasons, with the extra episode being (presumably) the 100th Episode Spectacular thing. But don't quote me I'm just guessing.

      Annoying it doesn't cover season 9, you dont even get the whole star wars trilogy lol.

      I think it's saying "Season 1-10" is innacurate… Family Guy has a weird numbering system, pretty sure season 4 was split into two parts for DVD throwing things out of whack. (I have "Season 5" which is only 16 episodes I think, but my S5 dvd set is actually the latter half of the broadcast season 4 lol, but minus the movie as well… confusing). Thats still only 9 seasons… lol… I have no idea. Anyway I assume the set having 148 episodes, covers the first 8 broadcast seasons.
