Is Nikon giving 3 years of warranty now instead of 2?
2 years instead of 1 year now for Australian Stock, this started about a month ago (this is at JB Hi-Fi anyways)
Decent price, got it last year for $660 and it was the lowest I could find that time.

Which is still actually quite a good deal for australian stock. Kogan is $648 shipped for grey inport with 1 yr warrenty. JB Hi-Fi is $750 for oz stock.

That is a good deal, and to be honest I am tempted to buy, but be aware this is a grey import. This means that while the camera is identical, it does not come with the 2 or 3 year nikon warrenty. The warranty it comes with is from the retailer and I cannot comment on the quality of this. If anyone else has any experience with them let me know as I would be tempted to jump on it for this price.

The deal has expired. Ive rung the store and they are selling them for $679 now. Deal was only ever available at the Broadway store and on a limited batch of cameras which sold out yesterday.

I paid $700 + shipping to Kogan few months back and that was grey imports with 1 year warranty. So this should be a very good price for Australian stock with 3 years warranty.

What day did you see the $599 price ?
Coz I saw their selling price at $598 on around ~ 4th June.
Thought it was coz Nikon was bring a new camera out but no
so when I went back to buy on the 9th June it was the
$678 price :-(Finally went in to bargain with them on 17th June and
got the D5100 with an extra Nikon battery for $690, was
$620 for the D5100 & $70 for the battery.
Owner said the $598 price was only for the first batch of
D5100's from Nikon.
Price in the title would be nice.
