I bought an A33 from Officeworks on Thursday for $475 (price beat Amazon), should I ask them if they can refund me the difference (would they do this?) or should I just change-of-mind return it? Haven't opened it or anything.
If you still can, I would return change of mind and try a pricebeat from different officeworks store.
Otherwise if they give refund just purchase from Telstra.

Wow, what a terrible purchasing experience. Went to the store and told I have to book an appointment (soonest was 45 minutes). I just wanted to buy it outright.
Went home and purchased on their website. That sucked too due to entering license details and submitting credit check even though I was buying outright.

I do not have any services with Telstra at the moment but successfully bought A33 outright and received order confirmation as well.
But you have in the past? I just created an account today with no prior services. Get that error, couldn't be bothered with any hoops buying a service that may or may not make be eligible to save $10 on a phone I'm unsure about anyway.
