Super Meat Boy Forever is at a historical low price too. Picked it up last night and whew lad - I am bad I didn't buy it on release like I was originally planning too.

    • Is it worth buying ?

      • Depends if you like 2D platformers. If yes, absolutely.

        You will die, a lot.

The main drawback of me buying it is that it's an auto-runner??

Me and my son absolutely loved SMB, but we just don't think we can love this one as much.

          • @splicer:

            an auto-runner

Oh. I was not aware of that. I assumed it was the original with improved graphics and more levels. I really enjoyed the OG version.

            • @Caped Baldy: I didn't like the auto runner change either. I don't know why they had to fix something that wasn't broken.

          • @splicer: It's so cheap now, that it is probably worth it to grab and decide for yourself.

I gave up 3 levels in. I hate that punch and jump are the same button, and that punch propels you forward, so if you mistime by a frame or two and hit jump early, you are sent flying forwards into the obstacle you were trying to jump.

Super Meat Boy was a game I was obsessed with, and this sucks imo. Feels like mobile might be better, but it would still have the same core problem.

    • 19.99 ?

Thanks OP downloaded for the kids and hopefully I’ll like it too.

  • Does anyone know if the special edition is included in all you can eat?

Best game to initiate break up and/or divorce! ;)

been playing this with the kids.. man, sometimes want to kill them

      • Ah, missed this scenario!

Thanks for sharing! Does anyone happen if this is any better than overcooked 2 or the ayce edition?

    • Also keen to know if Overcooked 2 is worth the $6.77 price difference. It is for a 7yo boy to play, mostly single player

      • +2

I’d say they’re honestly just more of the same. Overcooked 2 is more polished and easier. It also has online multiplayer while Overcooked 1 is only local couch co-op.

      • +1

I wouldn't recommend Overcooked games for single player. It's possible to play, but it's much more difficult and loses a lot of the fun.

        • Fun? You mean FURY right? ;)

    Thanks OP!

My finger is hovering over the Purchase button. I have it on Xbox and hardly play it with the kids, they think I yell too much, but I tell them I just get excited that's all, and also that's how Head Chefs do it! :P

But it just feels like it would be a great game to have on the go, travel-wise I mean.

  • I have this game as a physical, if I buy the digital, will my progress carry over??

    • If you bought the AUS physical then I think it will.

  • +3

getting a divorce has never been cheaper!

    • for that price, totally worth it.
better than $250 dell price error

  • +1

Ok what did I just buy?

    • Well imagine trying to cook steak and if it’s under Gordon Ramsay pops up and screams “this is F-ing raw!” but if you overcook it then it’s Uncle Roger going “HAIYAAA!”. Repeat times 100…

Actually I’m kidding I have no idea either…

    • It's awesome 4 player local couch co-op cooking mayhem. You'll love it.

  • No! expired! Was just about to treat the kids for the weekend.
How often do these prices come around?
