The very name does that…
were a bit spoilt for watch deals….20% off fossil just isnt going to cut it!
it is fossil. it is extinct
it is an ex-watch
Fossil quartz watches are overpriced fashion watches, for these prices or less you could buy from a reputable watch making brand like Seiko or Citizen. You could even buy a solar or automatic.
For example -
Fossil Blue Three-Hand Date Stainless Steel $299.00 - 20% ($239.20)
Citizen Eco-Drive (solar) AW1525-81L $229.00 deliveredImo the only positive development that Fossil has ever given the watch industry is their (relative) mainstreaming of affordable hybrid smartwatches, bringing us back from the horror of LED screens on wrists.
The software is not bad, and the hardware is usable for analogue hybrids. The e-ink hybrids would be great if it not always attached to extremely poor workmanship.
Gen 5s were on clearance at JB hi-fi if you were lucky enough to pick them up for 80 or 100 bucks
are there people what actually buy fossil watches? i would like to meet them.
I actually have a few of them, but i have never paid more than about 10 - 20 percent of the RRP for them.
you might ask the same about DW
but DW are worth $200 mil. and they infest myers, djs and Fossil is worth $4 bil. so the market for shitty fashion watches is huge because there's a lot of 'fashionistas' out there, with cash
if you go to a Fossil outlet at say DFO you'll seem them packed… packed full of (insert your description)…. but nonetheless… lots of money exchanging hands
But you also have to remember that while DW sell predominantly watches, Fossil's worth also includes their other products. I hear that their wallets are of pretty decent quality.
So with other words it excludes everything that could be a real bargain?
