  • Can it pair using bluetooth without dongle? Looking one for my new portable pc who has no usb-A port.

    • +4

      Yes.It can connect using bluetooth.

    • +1

But you won't utilize the mouses low latency over Bluetooth. Needs to be via 2.4. that's how it is with the v2 pro at least

  • +1

Actually decent. Doesn't dropout unlike the similarly priced Basilisk

    • I've got a Basilisk X for over a month and it hasn't dropped out yet (on 2.4GHz or BT). Is this a much better mouse?

      • +1

Based on what I have seen, it's the original batches that have drop-out issues and bad battery life.

Mine (bought like a year ago) has been flawless.

        • Are you talking about the Basilisk X or this mouse?

        • Weird, my battery is fine but it definitely has those random drop-outs that are lame.

        • Definitely has dropouts as well as click issues on my Basilisk X

    • I had the non-hyperspeed version of Razer DeathAdder V2 Pro for 3 months, and experienced the random dropout issue from the first month. Was about once in a day at the very beginning, then it became more frequent, recently it became once in an hour or so which usually ruined my games. I ended up refunding it on Tuesday. Highly disappointed. But after some research I realized it might be a common issue for wireless mice(basically on every YouTube wireless mouse review there are some commends talking about this issue), so I am considering going back to wired.

      • That's just a misconception. I have 15+ gaming mice and the only one I get any hint of drop-outs on is the Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed.

Don't make decisions based on bullshit.

Good to hear that. Sounds like I was just having bad luck on my DA.

          • @lrq663611: Maybe a few Razers have the issue i didnt experience it on any but Basilisk and i have about 5

Will this go well with an XPS 38 inch display that I will be receiving on Tuesday?

  • This or a Logitech G305?

    • Yeah trying to make the same decision here, let me know what you decide

    • I have 3 G305, one bought fullprice $99 few years ago, happy with it, then decide to buy the other 2 when it was $39. The only downside is it has dongle only connection. Now, I need a bluetooth mouse without dongle, I look at this one.
Depend on what you need, you might want to wait for discount on G305, it regulary go below $30 now

    • Its more about your grips than anything else between the two

  • Eww razer.
When i updated it lost all macros.
It always bugs and clicks multiple times with one click
Imo id never buy razer again
    Fun times

I've used different variations of the deathadder for over 14 years including a 3 year stint in pro level csgo and I only suffered one issue which was the side grips losing their adhesive. I'm currently on the v2 pro and the only thing I'd fault it for is having micro USB as charger instead of usb c. I've tried other mice and nothing feels as good as a deathadder for me. Obviously that's subjective, but they are great mice and one of the most popular for a reason.

      • i bought a cheap dock from Aliexpress… works great.

  • Is Synapse not shit anymore? It's the only reason I don't buy Razer.

  • I thought it came with built in battery..i think logi anywhr id much better then

  • Looks like the Razer Orochi black version is also on sale for $59.

  • I'm seeing $95?
