      I assume the checkout machines will recognise the barcode under “cleaning” category and apply the discount regardless where you pick it up from.

            @Carbon Door: Coles is "Ultra" same as Woolworths "Shine" I find they do exactly the same job as any of the expensive brands.

    I can't scan the barcode for baby product last time on self checkout. I just key in the barcode number myself and it works.

      Worked at self checkout with the upgraded scanners or FlyBuys scanner near the pinpad. Make sure your mobile screen brightness is at max.

    I just used Coles online to test some product eligibility, the following are eligible for a 20% discount:

      Just at Cole's checkout.
      Fluffy 1litre concentrate softener, isn't being discounted.

      Service desk gave me a $2 off ticket, for the inconvenience, which I used on the transaction anyway.

      Ironically, it gave a 1c discount on the total, scanning the barcode.
      Service desk said I had to buy the west Australian newspaper and surrender the barcode, despite scanning the barcode as posted above.
      They didn't have any papers in stock.

      So, after all that, fluffy concentrate 1 litre didn't work with this barcode

        Sorry to hear that, however, I just re-tested on Coles Online, and the checkout page still shows there is a discount. (Fluffy Concentrate Liquid Fabric Softener Conditioner Pure Scents-itive Creamy Coconut Hypoallergenic). Probably it depends on the variety.
