[eBay Plus] Parker Jotter Bond Street Fountain Pen $17.16 ($23.10 without Plus) Delivered @ Peter's of Kensington eBay

90
SVE20PLSAV22

Original Coupon Deal

Peter's of Kensington are participating in the current eBay deal and are not known for jacking prices. This is a decent fountain pen if you want something to start with. If you want to dive straight into the world of fine writing instruments then perhaps one of the re-issued Parker 51 pens might tickle your fancy.

Someone suggested in the comments below that a Kaweco is also a good starting option - they're also on special from $20.28 delivered with Plus, or $26.20 without Plus.

Start with a Lamy Safari or Kaweco Perkeo. These 'classic' Parkers are cheaply made new rubbish cashing in on nostalgia/brand name.

  • The plus deal will not have 5.50 shipping either so will be close to $17

    • Fair point…I'll update the title and description.

Is it a decent pen that does not spill ink everywhere asking for a friend king charley

  • Pen snobbery is alive and well here. I've been using Jotters for over 40 years without a problem. Let's face it, it's only a conduit for the refill. There are plenty of exorbitant priced refills you can buy that fit the Jotter, if it makes you feel better.

    • If you're talking about the Jotter ballpoint then you're definitely correct - they're probably the most ubiquitous, reliable, and recognisable refillable ballpoint around. However, the pen in this deal is a fountain pen, and that's a completely different story. Not all cheap FPs are also 'good'; I've not personally used a Jotter like this one, but I've got a couple of Kaweco pens and I can attest to their quality as an inexpensive good writer.
