AmEx Statement Credit: Spend $150 or More, Get $30 Back @ IKEA

1820

Save the offer to your eligible Card and spend $150 or more, in one or more transactions, online or in-store at IKEA by 31/10/2022 to receive one $30 credit.

Limited to the first 20,000 Cards to save the offer. Exclusions apply.

Can be combined nicely with this deal or if lucky this deal.

If you don’t have anything to buy now, I assume buying IKEA gift cards should trigger the cashback.

Added note: I never bought gift vouchers from https://www.ikea.com/au/en but I did previously in-store and got my Amex cashback.

Can confirm buying GC in store works, unsure about online.

        • Are there any other GC avaliable in store? or just ikea's? Thanks

      • +5

I can confirm I received the AMEX offer redeem email after purchasing IKEA giftcards online

        • I know you mentioned that you received the offer redeemed email but can you confirm you received the credit? Just want to be sure before I buy the gift cards online.

          • @dealsgrabber: The credit don’t come straight away and I only bought 2 days ago, but I never have issues of not getting credit after receiving the redeem email from Amex

The transaction merchant in Amex is showing as IKEA so very confident there’s no issue in meeting the criteria

            • @littlesoldier: Thanks mate. Yes, I know the credit doesn't come straightaway but some of them have been coming pretty quickly in a couple of days. Since you have confirmed that the transaction is showing as IKEA, I will give it a go, just wanted to avoid the trip to the store.

    • Yeah would be good to find out, will save me a trip

  • If I have two cards with this offer activated and am buying a $300 item in-store, does anyone know if I can split the payment across the two cards to claim both offers?

    • +1

Just to be safe, just buy 2x gift cards of $150 each in store on each cards and use them to buy your things.

      • Thanks for that, makes a lot of sense (and means I don't have to worry about deal expiry)!
