Hi all. Boost Mobile is currently selling their $40 50GB SIM for just $15, so stack with this offer from Cashrewards to get $16.50 cashback for a $1.50 profit. Please note that cashback reverts to 100% as per this deal at 8pm AEST Sunday. Stay safe, and enjoy :)

Cashback terms:

  1. Multiple SIM purchases need to be made as separate transactions. Adding more than one SIM to an order will result in an untracked purchase.
  2. SIM must be activated within 30 days of ordering.
  3. Cashback is ineligible on prepaid phones, recharges, and any plans or products not specifically listed in the cashback table of rates.
  4. You must return and click through from Cashrewards every time you make a new transaction/purchase.

For tracking success, disable 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc), VPNs, avoid browsers such as Brave, close additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from Cashrewards as tracking will be lost. 4 days of posts TA? This is unheard of from you….

    • +6

      Not so tight after all.

  • +1

ahh man… I want to go for the JB 12-month plan eventually and understand that porting from Boost is not eligible.

Otherwise I would've been all over this one.

  • +2

    Any 365 days deal 😞

    • -2

Buy thirteen SIMs, get a year’s service, and get paid $19.50!

      • +4

        Not how this works

SIM must be activated within 30 days of ordering

        • +1

Ignore the terms and it will work. Anyone who asks this question is not following the Boost Mobile deal closely. It has been answered many times.

          • @Neoika: If my 12m Boost 200 expires in 18 days, can I buy this Boost 1m sim deal and use afterward?

          • +1

@Neoika: Too risky. Don't want to be out of pocket $148 on a technicality

            • @Korban Dallas: I don't think it would even work, might have to get new number every time?

            • +1

@Korban Dallas: I did not say you should order 10+ this time. As I said above, there are a few people following the Boost Mobile deal closely and already know "free after cashback" has become a monthly / fortnightly deal. Last time I ordered it was early August.

          • @Neoika: Can you confirm that you can activate after 30 days and still successfully get cashback from it?

      • +6

        Usual risky advice from tharlow😡

        • +2

Yes, one or two each time is enough. The deal will be run again after 2-4 weeks.

          • +2

@Neoika: Waiting for SIM from last Boost Deal but ordering next one… at a profit. And Repeat.

Still have 4 x 1c Kogan SIMs to use
And 5 Belong $80 starter packs (2k pt ea, good for 1yr) from FREE 10k Telstra Plus points…

            Reaching SIM overload💥

            • @INFIDEL: Isn't 1c Kogan deal like half a year ago? You have some real stocks :)

              • +2

@StephenCurry: My SIM broker recommended to invest in those📱
Yes, old Kogan 1c expire December.
                Use SIMs mainly for Data.

        • +2

Not really advice, just troll comments.

          • -3

@DoctorCalculon: Agreed. I have them on ignore. Hopefully they soon get sent to the penalty box permanently

  • Can you buy one of these and then transfer the number to another boost mobile prepaid Sim a month later? Or do you just keep getting new numbers?

    • New numbers. Works well in a dual SIM phone. Keep your number on a 365 day plan, get your data from a SIM you swap over every month.

      • The 365 plans have more data than I need, I barely use any. Not really worth it for me, even when the $200 plan drops to $140.

        • +3

          Misunderstanding here.

My main number currently is on a Vodafone $40 SIM (often discounted to $10-$15). That is activated on the 365 day Pay and Go. It's just there to keep my permanent number, so I can be reached by incoming calls and SMS. Same can be had even cheaper, and on Telstra network, with a $5 Aldi Pay As You Go SIM.

Data comes from SIM #2, which can be anything that's cheap, like this one, where I'll get paid for using it :-)

          • +2

@team teri: Amaysim (sometimes free) is handy for your use - keeping number, incoming calls & SMS - for a year after 28d credit expires.
But lacks the ability to make outgoing calls on your long term number, using that discounted $40 credit. I use 2nd SIM for that & explain I am ringing from my frequently changing other number…

Was using Voda $40 from $5 Deal & Cashback paid more than that. Back on free Amaysim until next Voda Deal!

Have been using 2 SIMs & SIM swapping for best offers for 8 years. (1 SIM for incoming calls on long term number, other for outgoing calls & Data) Costs very little.

So much easier with a dual SIM phone. Used to carry 2 phones years ago!

          • @team teri: Do you mean that the $40 pay and go itself goes on sale for $15?

            • @GhatT: Its just a standard $40 Voda starter pack. You choose the plan.
Has been as low as $5 in a Deal with more cashback than that

              • @INFIDEL: Don't the standard starter packs expire after 28 days? Or can you turn that into a 365-day expiry?

                • +1

@GhatT: You choose when you activate.

Most choose the monthly plan as it has the most Data. As I get my data from SIMs like this, I don't need the data for just 1 month.

Last time I chose 6 months to use the $40 on calls etc, & but only got a total of 1GB across the 6 months. The following 6 months receive incoming calls & SMS but can't make outgoing calls on my long term number.

Check out options on Vodafone site as it does change.

                  • @INFIDEL: So you can set one of these to expire after 365 days?
                    https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/vodafone-4…

Seems like there's a bunch of these on discounted price at the moment. Doesn't seem like anyone's posted a deal for them

                    • +2

@GhatT: Yes. Sometimes delivered by Voda at same price. Sometimes sold by 7-11.
$15… Am waiting for it free after cashback😉

                      • @INFIDEL: Thanks. You guys are real ozbargainers. Guess I'll be switching to this!

Probably works out better for me than waiting for a free amaysim, cause it'll be more convenient to sometimes just call from my normal phone number.

                        • +1

@GhatT: Years ago, wrote a Wiki here about how to get the most out of Telstra $30 Starter Packs.

Those were rarely discounted, cost $30 for a month, with a huge 3GB included!! Most bought for that lovely data!

And we could transfer our unused credit…
Someone wrote an app to buy that credit at over 50% of value.

When Woolies had a promo of $1 Telstra packs - we had 3GB & almost $15 profit!!
Wrote about how to use 2 x $1 SIMs to receive calls & SMS for a year - seemed no one was interested. And how to do what was discussed above.

How could life get any better?😂
Now making a profit by buying a SIM is common place!

          • @team teri: This is a great idea! Thanks for this. Does Vodafone let you activate the 365 day Pay and Go using their $40 starter pack?

          • @team teri: do I need credit card to activated? what should I do after 28 days? Will the company keep you with them?

  • +3

Just a note if you're ordering multiple SIMs over within the same period, it can be quite painful to activate ie. gotta go through live chat.

    • As long as it’s not zombie chat. That blank stare really gives me the creeps

  • I just ported out from Boost a few days ago.
Does anyone know how many days I have to wait before porting it back to Boost to be eligible for this cashback? Thanks

    • -1

      Some person: R U OK?
Supercool: I just got paid to try 28 days of Boost 5G service!
Some person: What a time to be alive! How much are they paying you?
Supercool: $1.50 in a few months time
Some person: I guess tomorrow can’t come soon enough, then…

  • +2

@TA - same question as before, if you previously purchased this deal this week or last month are you eligible for this offer today?

    • Yes, it’s not capped per Cashrewards account but you may be blocked by Boost at checkout on an error saying Sorry we can’t process your order

I just bought this $40 plan and I also got the $30 plan previously too

      • +2

I bought two Boost SIM cards for the last two months. I'll buy another one tonight and see if I get blocked by Boost.

        • +1

Cue the Mission Impossible theme music…

        • Placed another order just now (the 3rd one), got no issue and cashrewards tracked almost immediately.

      • +1

"if you previously purchased this deal … are you eligible for this offer today?"
…you may be blocked by Boost at checkout

Early on in these popular Boost Deals, when so many tried to order a SIM - some saw that message at checkout. I got that message - on my first order!!

One of the many frustrated comments:
Anyone else getting "Sorry, we are unable process your order. Please try again later.’?"
A fairly common type of message when a system is overwhelmed!

Happened many times as I tried to place my first order in that Deal. Took a break & order went through. The huge number of orders were also slow to deliver for some.

Haven't seen that message since with my many orders.

So no support for your theory that Boost is deliberately blocking some repeat orders!!

Their system sometimes can't handle the large number of orders arriving!
        It's that simple.
So as Boost suggests "Please try again later."!

        • "errors": [
              {
                  "message": "Possible Fraud",
                  "code": "403"
              }
          ]

          • @NGPriest: A snippet of code proves nothing, as you should know.
If it is part of the Boost purchase system - fraud detection is expected.

            But…
It doesn't show that making repeat Boost SIM purchases are considered "Possible Fraud".
Or that code was what caused orders to be blocked by Boost.
Or that the message "Sorry, we are unable process your order. Please try again later." is generated by that fraud detection - due to multiple SIM purchases, as some believe!

I tried to place my first SIM order (not a repeat purchase), but was blocked 3 times at checkout. Saw message "Sorry, we are unable process your order. Please try again later."
Came back a while later & order was immediately processed using identical order & payment information.

What fraud detection programming would allow that??
So wasn't blocked for having multiple Boost SIMs or any other fraudulent reason - detected by your fragment of code.

Others had similar experiences of order failing to be processed at checkout - with the message. But at same time, some reported their order was accepted first time…

Have now made multiple Boost SIM purchases (as suggested in Deal Description), without seeing that message again or being blocked!

A simpler & more likely reason orders were blocked at a busy time - their system couldn't handle the volume of orders from a popular Deal!

As I replied to bargainsgrabber above - So no support for your theory that Boost is deliberately blocking some repeat orders!!

People like to dream up reasons why their order was rejected. And placing multiple orders is what some want to believe!

Rather, I don't think Boost cares about the increased sales! Otherwise the Deal wouldn't be repeated, with wording (plus confirmation) that multiple purchases are OK!!

Like most "conspiracy theories" that gain popularity on the Internet, there just isn't any proof! But some believe because of that…

Thank TA, going to chip in 49 cents and splurge on a month of Disney plus. What a time to be alive

  • Can you receive SMS after the plan expires?

  • THANKS OP!

  • Legend!

  • -1

Can you port from an existing Boost SIM to this new SIM, i.e. keep the same number, and still get the cash back? I noticed some said above that you need to get a new number each time, but imho porting still counts as activating the SIM card itself, doesn’t it?

  • +5

Do I have to report this as income?

Yes — but it’s only a small Boost

@tightarse Hi TA, the previous $15 back deal hasn't being tracked yet, how long do I have to wait for it to show up in the transaction? i only ordered yesterday.

    • Hi. Boost tracking is close to instant. Not sure why it hasn’t tracked for you, but the tips in italics at the very bottom of the OP may help.

You’ll need to wait until 7 days have passed at which time a claim’ button will appear in your click history. We then submit the claim on your behalf and Boost runs analytics to determine the attribution channel/partner.

Other option (if it’s even possible) is to cancel the order and try again ensuring you follow the outlined tips. Hope this helps.

      Thanks.

      • Other option (if it’s even possible) is to cancel the order

Unfortunately that only in another universe, where banks don't ask a single question on reversing transaction. Boost support will not help at all in refunding, best they can do is help customer get a prepaid return label.

On other hand Woolworths sim is great in this order cancellation purposes.

  • I'm worried it won't get sent. Still waiting on shipping from one i bought a few days ago…

Will be doing a chargeback if it doesn't get here in time.

  • Any freebies to go new sim? Eg GyG

  • +1

can i buy the 28 day sim and later recharge with a 12 month long expiry plan?

  • If already on a boost Sim do I have to port out for 30 days before porting back in like with kogan or will a 7 day Sim from Lebara be enough?

  • I typed in the wrong email address hopefully it still comes

  • Does anyone know how many numbers you can activate max. under the same Boost ID?

    • +1

I can't comment on how many, I do vaguely remember once having to answer to "do you have 5 or more active pre-paid services" (I believe with amaysim).

But if you're hinting to maybe have 2 boost IDs - don't.
I had an old Telstra account, and activation online failed because my email was a mismatch with an old Telstra ID. I had to go to chat to get it activated - which went relatively smooth.

  • they havent even posted the sim after 4 business days…pretty poor

  • Hi I want to know I am already with boost can I choose another number and get this deal for 1 month free data

  • Received SIM today
