  So i can buy 1 apple share and 1 citibank share ? And also is the deposit safe? And thus is a rebate on brokerage correct and not a cash payment into my account so cant be withdrawn?

All deposits are held in segregated accounts. $0 brokerage for US and HK stocks are applied automatically, so no rebate is needed for them - they are built into the trading platform. And the cash rebate promo, we will pay the rebate amount into your trading account in AUD, and you are able to withdraw it and all your funds whenever you want. We have no restriction on withdrawals with this promo.

  Woohoo - got my rebate… took a bit over a week though but i'm not complaining.

  With that said, free brokerage is great. I guess they make money their money back on offering trading other markets? Anyhow the whole process was painless and will get the Mrs to claim hers next.
