handset itself costs $508.95 plus shipping fee of $38.95 (i know it's crazy)
but erm 548 bucks may still be the lowest price (at the moment) compare with other deals

      Usually these phones are sent directly from overseas through an express courier services like FedEx or DHL. For a service like that these rates are quite reasonable. See if you can get a better quote from FedEx/DHL from a place like Taiwan ;).

    Signed in for the first time in aages just to post this comment. Although yes, $508.95 is the cheapest I've seen for a HTC One X (a phone I'm really looking to buy), that shipping bumps it within $1 of DutyFreeCentral's price of $548.94 (including Australia-wide shipping).

    I'm really looking to buy this phone in the next few weeks, and my bets are currently on for either:
    * Kogan, currently at $559 (exc. shipping) but previously at ~$519, or
    * DutyFreeCentral, like said above is $548.94 incl. Australia-wide shipping

    But, if there are any better deals on this exact phone, I really wanna know!
