    Apple logo included. ?
I will pay $1999 if so

    • -4

See second pic, there is an apple logo in the corner. The apple cult will pay anything for anything that has that logo.

But since the RRP is probably $1999, i guess this is a bargain.

        Keeps… SnipeDog mad

        • I don't know about snipedog but I'm laughing.

  • How much is it normally? Looks like $29 from Apple so with shipping this is around half price?
Depends how much shipping is, but I wouldn't pay $20 for this. $5 in store and I will still think about it.

You really need to be sure you are going to use it though, otherwise it will just sit and be lost in a drawer which is definitely not worth $10 + shipping.

Do we need to buy a case to store this ?

    • Spring colour way is about to be released for Apple polishing cloth protective cases.

    Strangely, ozbargained

    • Why strangely?

      • Because it has a very specific purpose. For cleaning coated glass such as your phone screen without a protector on it or a watch or something and for that you are paying $15~$20 for one cloth.

I don't know anyone who doesn't have a screen protector on their phone, and with a protector on you can just use any old microfibre cloth. I just spray some pinocleen into a tissue and that's good enough for my Daiso screen protector. Also when looking at a screen with light coming out of it, it's very hard to notice micro scratches.
I guess this cloth is for users who don't put any screen protector on their phone and hate seeing microscratches when they look at their phones screen when it's off.
But for most people a microfibre cloth can do the same thing.
Like this https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/625876 or this https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/662862

As I said it's very specific and not really something anyone would buy, such as with a microfibre cloth that has many purposes.

But then again people are weirder than ever right now especially after the pandemic started. So maybe most users got one just because they thought it would feel amazing on their cuck. At least some comments below seem to think so.

          Hi

@GlobalWorming: Hello. I use a case with a bezel instead of screen protector

            • +2

@Skullytor: no case either, 12 mini. It feels great and actually looks great, aluminium case with few scratches on corners. I have Aplle Care+, and can get a replacement easy.

You realise this is for desktop displays mainly, right?

Like iMac, Apple Pro Display XDR and apple studio display, MacBook/pro displays.

These actually are specifically made for the nano-coating on the Pro Display XDR. Because it’s prone to scratching easier and its advised not to use any other cleaning cloth (and it comes with one I believe)

These aren’t primarily targeted to phone users.

          • @Larsson: Ok I did not know that. I think the iMac display is probably similar to a phone display which is also coated with some kind of chemical.

Still I would think one of those cleaning cloth's for camera lenses is good enough for a coated display and can be gotten for cheaper.
While lens cloth's are much thinner, I think Apple just stuck two layers of that together and put some other cloth inside to make it thicker and feel more premium.

          • +2

@Larsson: I thought this was the most ridiculous Apple product until i nearly removed the nano coating from my 14” mbp with a microfiber cloth. i bought this and it fixed it up. it’s a must have for any apple product with this kind of display

            • @CheapAddict: I mean had one and now bought 2 more so clearly I agree with you.

  • Is there a monthly subscription to use this cloth?

    • You may need to wash it monthly.

  • "We have engineered something revolutionary, and we can't wait to show you. We are so, so excited to introduce iPolish cloth. It's magic. With micro-fibre technology developed right here at Apple."

    • The micro fibre is actually nano technology with robotic arm polishers made from bioengineered genetically enhanced apple fibres in collaboration with pfizer labs.
      Its patented as "Nano αFibre™"

  • Will this cloth slow down and a newer model is released?
