Dimensions: Approx. 57cm(w) x 15cm(h)
51 - 58.8cm adaptor ring to suit all kettle bbqs
Rotisserie kit includes a 1 piece 8mm Chrome skewer with handle and 2 Chrome prongs
240v motor capable of turning up to 8kg or balanced meat

note: Due to the varying diameters different kettles brands have, this kettle rotisserie ring is NOT designed to be used with the lid of the kettle and the lid will NOT fit properly. In the experience, the best result when cooking with a rotisserie is not to use a lid/hood as it gets way too hot.

Does anyone have one of these, with a 57cm Weber? Does the Weber lid fit on this?

I know they say in the description that not all kettle lids will fit, and that it's not meant to be used with lid - but would be nice to be able to use it as a riser, even without the rotisserie.

    • For those interested: I spoke to someone from BBQ Spit Rotisseries, who confirmed that the lid of a Weber (and SnS kettle) don't fit properly on this. The ring is smaller than 57cm, so you can balance the lid on top but it would fall off if knocked.

Just in case anyone was wanting to use this as a riser with lid. This is for open rotisserie use only.

  • Please note this isn’t the genuine Weber version.

Yep, this is the kettle rotisserie kit from Flaming Coals (which is the house brand for BBQ Spit Rotisseries in Seaford):
      https://www.bbqspitrotisseries.com.au/57cm-Kettle-Rotisserie…

(Probably should be listed in the title / deal description)

      • That’s awesome, says it is compatible with Weber. Never seen a Weber rotisserie for that cheap… ordered one.

  • 8kg rating so really 5kg. no counterbalance and no stainless steel rod. hard pass.

had my fair share of crappy motors. surprisingly the Weber motor is actually very very good!!!

  • I have one - got it from Kogan - cannot complain.

    • Do you have a Weber? Does the lid fit on top of the rotisserie ring?

      • Check my response below. Yes it does.

        • This one doesn't. I was asking about the Flaming Coals rotisserie specifically - you have the official Weber rotisserie.

(When I asked "do you have a Weber", I was referring to whether Foma2 had a Weber kettle that they are using with the Flaming Coals rotisserie, which is what Kogan sells. Sorry if that was unclear.)

I have confirmed with BBQ Spit Rotisseries (which Flaming Coals is a house brand) that the 57cm Weber kettle lid does NOT fit on the Flaming Coals rotisserie.

          • @caprimulgus: ahhh Yes, that was unclear. :)

Great job in confirming it doesn't fit. That's a big no no in my book.

            • @he11bent: Yep me too - was hoping for a cheap rotis kit / riser, so I could save some money from buying the official one, or an aftermarket one from Kettle BBQ Bits…but the lid not fitting (for closed rotisserie or riser only usage) is going to annoy me, so I may as well pay the extra for a proper one! :)

  • Don't bother with this and get the actual Weber one. I have the Weber one, it's a good kit, and it's made exactly like the Weber, heavy duty porcelain enamelled maintains the heat retention same as the Kettle. The rating is also higher at 10kgs.
With this, the material is much thinner, you'll have a temp variation.

The only thing I had to do with the Weber Rotisserie kit was add heat sealing tape to it to give a proper air tight fit.

Have done many 10-12 hour Boston butt on it and they turn amazing. Best thing with the rotisserie is it makes things a lot easier when it comes to even cooking.

  • to be clear for those that dont know.. this company has been at it for years.. they cloned the Hark Texas pro pit which was already crap quality and made it even worse (2014)

then they tried to do it with the Kettles and every popular product to try and catch people out trying to save $80.

they do things well, such as their bbq honey sauce but that's about it. Once again, can you find better? Yes, a lot better for a tiny bit more money.

  • Hi guys. I have not seen your messages.
    Anyway in a nutshell.
Rotisserie does not have to be airtight as the Weber itself is not airtight.
I've used my Kogan rotisserie kit for 6 months by now.
    It never failed.
