I signed up and received one last year despite not being in the Whitehorse City Council area.
It did include a number of free vouchers which is a great bonus!
If you subscribed to get a 2022 calendar you will automatically get a 2023 Whitehorse Calendar. You do not need to subscribe again.
Personally I think it’s a great initiative.
As long as it doesn't affect you, then stuff everyone else.
If it includes coupons from local businesses, the council may be charging for those?
For reference printed calendars cost around $3 each, plus $2 postage, so not exactly cheap.
Keeps a lot of people in jobs. The people grow the food for the people who build the tractors for the people who clear the land for the people who plant the trees for the people who turn them into paper so the people who made the computer can get it sold to a designer who can send it to the printer so someone can turn it into a calendar so they can post it to you. A bit going on.

If you have any calendars from 2017, 2006, 1995, 1989, 1978, 1967, 1961, 1950, 1939, 1933, or 1922 lying around, well you already have yourself a free 2023 calendar. And a 2034, 2045, 2051, 2062, 2073, 2079 or 2090 one too!

For the true povo calendar you can just print one on A4 from one of the many print a calendar sites. Does the job.
