How do you get the ccgtv remote to work with this?
We've had 3 "Bauhn" TV's over the last 12 years. All worked well, all lasted 5yrs +, with one having lasted 9yrs before it started to go.
The to remember is that "Bauhn" is just a sticker name. Aldi put out a tender for someone to cobble together an appliance to meet certain specs for a certain price. Quality can vary depending on who "wins" the bid.
As for warranty claims with Aldi; I haven't had issue with TV's, but had their "Sterling" brand washing machines and dryers promptly repaired by calling the service number on the sticker.
I want a 75" or larger. Should I wait?
I spent nearly $5000 on a 40"LCD when they first came out. Was very happy.
Currently on a 55" Bravia (3D haha) from 2012, which is doing fine, still love the picture on certain content and settings.
They cost WAYYYYY MORE than this. And I look at my friends $4000+ QLEDs and even OLED's. They look great, but once you are home and don't compare, you forget. That's why I gave on projectors though, can't compare them…sit closer
This seems like a disposable TV at this price.

After 3 minutes and you get over yourself, for $300-400 bucks they still do a bloody good job.
Unlike my projectors where you need to know the Boss in charge of lamps….
Luckily it won't fit in my Landcruiser upright….must resist
Laying it down I would say is suicide, as my sister cracked a 32" Dick Smith job going over a speed hump she didn't see. the thing was (profanity) in 1.2Km journey.

You can get a brand new 75 for $800 any day of the week. Unless it was QLED, not a great deal.

I got the 75" aldi TV with webOS a few months back when it was 699.
Love the TV, decent for the price.
