  • Great! Just ordered one.

  • Anyone else noticed Mwave seems to grant itself a lot of free publicity by finding a suitable product, undercutting the lowest staticice price by a few bucks (or in this case, 5 cents) then posting it here as a bargain? On an almost daily basis.

Shouldn't there be some limit to the number of such "ads" one retailer can place on this site?

    • Why would you want to limit offers on OzBargain or to the public? Providing cheap deals is a benefit to everyone, allowing the public to save money and easily find bargains shouldn't be limited in my opinion.

My question is are you a direct competitor to Mwave?

      • I don't work in the industry at all, but let me throw that suspicion back at you, given 9 out of 11 of your comments are positive responses to Mwave deals…

Posting a so-called "bargain" on an almost daily basis, based on looking up the cheapest price and beating it by a trivial amount, looks to me like an advertising strategy. That isn't something which helps us sort out the genuine bargains from the noise.

        • Think this is healthy competition, however you'd think they should do much better than 5c.

  • that is different model(T2200HD) :(

    • It'd essentially be the same panel.

      • but no HDMI and Speaker on the T2200HD

  • Just bought 2 - more than happy to see retailers undercutting each other. Keep up the good work!

  • I'm happy to see retailers undercutting each other and posting on here.

    Please keep it up.

  • If undercutting by 5 cents is a good enough excuse to get an ad up, that's acting as a disincentive to offer genuine bargains. And when you see companies are using the site as their own little marketing plaything, it makes you wonder whether the quality control mechanism (votes) is also being exploited.

    JMHO.

  • Yeah, when it is so close in price to other shops selling the same item… we may as well have a site called www.close-to-other-shops-prices-and-not-nearly-a-bargain.com…
