Infasecure Quattro Classic Car Seat (Suits 0-4 Years) $219.99 (Was $449.19) + $15 Delivery @ InfaSecure

130

Copied from Website. Believe this is good price

Quattro Classic sets a new standard in the 0 to 4 category with best practice safety, practicality, and comfort.

Compact
Measuring an incredibly narrow 420mm across at its widest point in both Rearward and Forward Facing modes, Quattro Classic is the narrowest child restraint with an in-built harness on the market today. Quattro Classic also features an ultra-compact Rearward Facing depth, perfect for smaller vehicles (or taller front seat travellers!).

And the best part? We’ve kept the internal width the same as our Kompressor series – so your child’s ride is still a supremely comfortable one!

Extended Rearward Facing
Rearward Facing is the safest way for babies and young children to travel in the vehicle. Quattro Classic allows for Extended Rearward Facing up to a large 30-month-old and Forward Facing with a harness to a large 4-year-old.

Twist & Lift™
Quattro Classic comes complete with Twist & Lift™ which allows one-handed adjustment of the headrest and harness from the front of the restraint. No re-threading straps, no uninstalling – you can get the perfect fit in seconds, and it’s never been easier.

Air Cocoon Technology™ (A.C.T)
Quattro Classic also features Air Cocoon Technology™ (A.C.T.). This enhances side impact protection through blow moulding design, which dramatically reduces the impact forces during a crash. The blow moulded shell greatly reduces the forces on a child’s head and body in a side-impact accident.

  • Anyone has this? Whats the review? Especially the fabric. Thanks

    • +1

Isn't rated by the Child Restraint Evaluation Program and I'd be wary of any review that isn't literally a crash test.

      • What do you mean this is not rated? Where do you see that?

        • I looked up this seat on their website, it's not there.

      • Can they release seats without crep rating ?

This is very popular seat in Car seats safety Australia fb group

        • I wouldn’t put too much weight on CREP. All car seats sold must meet the Australian safety standards.

It’s a basic fabric. I would say it’s similar to the caprice from baby bunting.

But it’s the best seat for that price point.

        • Not getting vaccinated and going into debt for soap is also really popular on Facebook groups

@MagnamoniousRex: Oh is it ? I am not part of such groups. So no idea

            @MagnamoniousRex: Quoting from another source:
“CREP is 💩 Their results aren’t reproducible, which is a basic requirement in science. If an experiment can’t be reproduced it indicates something is wrong with the experimental design. That’s how Andrew Wakefield’s infamous vaccine/autism study was found to be fraudulent.”

FYI, I held CREP in high regard until I did more research on it

@babecake: Any organisation or product that use an acronym, or sounds like faeces is usually a red flag for me!

              Except for crepes…I like crepes!

            • @babecake: And your source is…?

The word after the model is the name of the fabric.Quattro is the model. Classic is the fabric.

        • That was my understanding also but it's a much more expensive seat on Infa's site.
$690 vs $450. That's a lot extra just for the padding inserts?

  • Good as any other. All Aussie car seats are shit.

Volvo make the best seats, but they are banned in Australia (what would Volvo know about safety)!

So yeah, it's equally shit like every other. A bit smaller than some, so good for a smaller car, but then your kids will grow out of the rear facing side quicker.

If you have a bigger car (and I'm talking the distance to the back side of the front seats, where a Mazda 3 is bigger than a Mitsi Outlander on this respect..as they are actually a longer car), buy an Easy Switch for half the price, but will rear face longer (as it's massive)…but importantly …equally shit.

    • I like your realistic outlook on these matters.

      • A cinnamon donut…nothing fancy…does the job!

Much cheaper just to make another kid.
