Get OW to price match Costco. Works out to be $522.
Did the same and paid with afterpay for additional $10 off. Final price $511.55
got similar price for Pixel 6a, pros and cons with both but I ultimately chose Pixel 6a
Would like to know your reasoning? I'm deciding between the two as well!
vanilla android, 12MP camera means I can store more pics because I don't need high MP. Very good low light camera, unsure about a73. Tensor is faster than the SD778g, i dont care for wireless charging. Apparently 90hz can be unlocked on the pixel but I don't care for that either.
I went the other way.
I saw both in person. They seemed great for the price. Pixel felt too small however, especially in comparison. Screen seemed less punchy (I know Samsung boosts it). Pure Google was very enticing though…
For me it was the 120hz fresh rate, SD card, battery, form factor, higher res front facing camera etc. that confirmed it. Picture quality was also a big factor, but after viewing some comparisons, I felt the differences were negligle. Samsung's cameras werent left in the dust at all.
Guess I'll see how it goes. Its my partner's phone and she seems very happy with it.
6.1" and 6.7" is quite a big difference
Aaahhh!
I need a new phone but the A73 vs Pixel 6a vs s21 fe is driving me crazy!
If anyone wants to chime in, my priorities are:
Camera.
Somewhat tough.
Non-glitchy.Don't care about:
Gaming
refresh rate
being super speedy (but not crazy laggy)Can't decide how much i care about (but somewhat care about):
micro sd slot
wireless chargingThanks.
Ima have to vote for the S21 FE

Wouldn't touch the OnlyFans Edition.
I have s20 onlyfan, use it everyday, what's wrong?
Have you used a phone with fast refresh rate?
To be fair, if you haven't tried it you don't know what you're missing out on, and my IMO it's not a bad approach. It's not like it's going to improve productivity or phone's utility. (I personally would not be able to go back to a 60hz phone)
Yeah exactly my point. You don't know what you are missing out on once you use a phone with fast refresh rate. It's always the people who haven't used one who say they don't care.
@keejoonc: the high refresh snake costed me, within the year of having my first 144hz monitor I ended up upgrading my phone and my laptop so they both have a 120hz display. no regrets but kinda excessive!
What about Xiaomi mi 11i. Ticks all your boxes doesn't it?
6a would be my vote.
I'm close to putting an order in for the oppo find x3 pro
Where is stock/deal?
about $750. It's a bit more but I think there's value in getting a previous year's flagship.
there's an ebay plus link in here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/719074
Off topic, but I snoozed on the last Samsung 30% edu store promo because I thought I may be able to get the S22 Ultra cheaper. Was 30% off a great deal? Last promo was prime day but everything seemed to go in a flash.
Was 30% off PLUS $150 off at checkout and $50 off voucher if had one. Was good deal if had edu access.
20% off at moment on both Edu and Epp but still get $150 off at checkout plus can use $50 off voucher, compared to zero discount currently on Samsung retail site.
Doesn't seem to be any/many unicorn deals like last year with overlapping discounts and bonus trade-in etc to get it really cheap
Get OW to price beat it and even cheaper ; )
