  This defeats the purpose of an airfryer as it blocks most of the surface of the rack. I used a similar version, it took forever to cook and the food isn't good at all.
  Highly recommend not to buy.

  Don't put food directly on top. Put these under the wire mesh. And an aluminium foil works better or use baking paper

      It's air frying, need to give room for air to circulate. I also flip larger/flat foods midway through cooking.
      Another tick is to cook at low temp for longer, so the food cooks fully from within, then raise up the temperature for few minutes to really get the crisp going on the outside for the deep-fried feel.
