The Galaxy Fold 4 has been announced, price has dropped for the 512GB model compared to the Fold 3 and there's now a 1TB model. It's more of an incremental upgrade compared to the jump from the Fold 2 to the Fold 3.

Changes:

New subpixel matrix scheme that's meant to look sharper

  I ordered this slim aramid case from Aliexpress on the 12th of Aug, it arrived today. Just in time for the phone!

  I also ordered this tempered glass screen protector. I have the Fold 3 version from the same seller and am very satisfied with it. It fits within the front cover frame and raises the screen so it's almost flush with the case.

  Got my Fold 3 cracked crease fixed. Was just the screen protector. Had to be sent away as there's no more on the spot repairs in Victoria.

    Thanks for reporting back. My replacement screen protector started peeling again after a few months. Getting it replaced again for free under warranty today before I send it off for trade-in. Tecworks are doing it on the spot.

    Meanwhile my friend who bought his Fold 3 the same day last year hasn't had any peeling on his screen protector.

  For people who bought on the Samsung Education store, did you end up getting Samsung Rewards points credited to your account after a couple of weeks?

  The terms and conditions exclude purchase from the edu and government linked EPP stores? But people last year still got the points credited?

  Trying to work out which platform I buy a watch off.

  Does anyone know what the error code "Service Call returned 500 code" means after entering your credit card on tradeup and trying to go next? I've tried for a while now with no luck

    Have you ever traded the same phone before and not returned it to Asurion? If you have (or a previous owner has) then the phone is probably blacklisted from trade. There's zero way around this.

      Yes & No. I have traded a phone that was not returned but this time I am trading in the samsung watch 3 which hasnt gone through this process. Thanks for mentioning this though. I wonder if my name/dob/email/phone number combo has been blacklisted

        Hrmm possible. Previously I was able to still trade a different phone despite not returning one but maybe the checks/rules have changed.
