  • Anybody actually owned one of these and rate them? Cleaning largeish areas of concrete any good?

    Thinking about the 135 bar.

    • I have this. it's good for occasion car cleaning, and small size pavement. Mine around 10m2 area. The soap attachment very brittle, I broke the neck part, and need to get a replacement. if you have large area, better to go with higher model

      • I need to get the neck too, cos I lost mine. It's $3 on the Bosch site, but only available on special order. The phone service people said to go to Mitre 10 and place a special order in store for it.

Do you know where I can get that neck bit from, please? I'm struggling to get the white bottle to stay on without it - I have to hold the bottle in place.

    • Depending on how much concrete surface you need to clean get the patio cleaning attachment. Is a lot faster and even when cleaning

      • +1

Thanks for feedback guys. The last patio cleaning attachment I got was useless but mainly because the pressure washer was too weak.

Anyone got recommendations? I'm not particularly thinking of going cheap on this, I just don't want to struggle cleaning my concrete anymore and don't want to pay someone each time which is 10x more expensive over time

        • +1

This model is very weak. It's just like using a normal hose albeit with more to lug around. Basically it's useless and mine is just gathering dust doing nothing.

Maybe the model up would be much better I reckon.

I've never owned Bosch but have a Karcher - entry model been happy with it but it's also dying (after about 12ish years).

Get the more powerful one, you won't regret it.

  • This has good reviews for a slightly higher price - https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-1800w-2030psi-high-pressur…

Pretty sure I have seen it around 50 bucks before

    • In September 2020, for $57, yea.

  • Bought this through supercheap and it died 11 months in. Returned it and swapped it for a Karcher instead, since they didn't stock the Bosch anymore. Much prefer the Karcher tbh.

    • I bought this in 2020 and it's still going strong. Good for occasional use around the home and for car cleaning. I can't use any of the foam cannons on it though, I need the lance for that.

But it's super small and very light so really easy to carry around. It doesn't take up much storage space, and it gets the job done for me, so happy with it.

That's why I liked the Karcher, it comes with two different lance attachments and a Bowden's foam cannon connects straight to it without an adaptor, which you need to order with the Bosch.

        • True, when I bought it 2 years ago, I wasn't bitten by the detailing bug. 😁

It's not a deal breaker, it makes a decent foam with AG's Polar Blast.

I bought the 120 and no complaints other than hose length, as I needed to move the unit around a number of times to clean my car. Not sure if it is a good idea to do it with water pressure so kept on having to turn it off.

Bought one if these to help reduce the movement
    Bosch 6 m Extension Hose for AQT… https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B00F4TQEVQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_s…

$30 with 15% off at the moment.

Other issue is the snow chamber little small to do an Tiguan in one hit, but works.

Overall it does the job till a hand wash is available.

    • Agreed, +1
I paid $24 for that hose when it went down. Really made my life better.

I really wish that I could find a way to use this with my new Bowden's Own Foam Cannon. There is a Bosch adapter BOADAPTOR9 for it but I don't think that this adaptor works with this Aquatak 100 - I'm really hoping someone corrects me.

  • I bought the 120 version last month to use as a separate dedicated foam sprayer. Haven't used it yet but this warmer weather looks promising.
