The Advance Move Convertible Car Seat features three modes of use - Rearward Facing up to a large 12-month-old, Forward Facing with an internal harness for children up to a large 4-year-old and then as a Booster Seat for use with the vehicles lap & sash seatbelt up to a large 8-year-old.

The Pinch Test

Because safety always has and is the number one priority for your little ones, a means of quickly checking whether your child's car seat or capsule harness is tight enough is a must. This is where the Pinch Test comes in.

To begin, first adjust your childs harness to be nice and firm by pulling the harness adjuster at the front of the seat. Once this is done, try to pinch the harness at your child's upper chest or shoulder. If you can't pinch it the harness is fitted correctly and you're good to go. If you can pinch the harness then try to tighten it again, and repeat this process until you can no longer pinch it. This method is both simple and quick and can be done every time you put your child in their car seat!
