Book on TheFork between now until Aug 31 at the checkout to earn 1,000 Yums to use on future reservations.

The Fork is working with influencers and in turn the influencers I can find (tagged on TheFork's IG) 2 codes which will give you 1000 Bonus Yum Points per code. Looking at the 2 posts below, I think these will expire at the end of August. So book for today, Friday, whenever just make the booking before the end of the month. The codes are interchangeable and not location specific.

If you've never used TheFork before or an existing user and haven't used other codes, then this is the general order you should enter the codes (1 code per booking):

  1. Use a referral code - new signup is 1,000 Yums. (1000 Yums=$20)

  2. Next booking should be a code that expires first (31/8). So this deal PLACESINSYDNEY. (1000 Yums=$20)

  3. Next booking should be a code that expires first (31/8). So this deal MELBFOODBABY. (1000 Yums=$20)

  4. Then download & make 2nd booking via the app for 1000 bonus Yums - code APP22 - Deal (1000 Yums = $20)

  5. Finally use the long running code GOODFOOD22 (Exp 31/12) Deal (1000 Yums=$20)

Remember, all you have to do is show up to your booking. No minimum spend, pay with gift card, whatever. I got gifted a Best Restaurant Gift card so have crossreferenced which restaurants take TheFork & Best Restaurants. Wiki (Done in VIC, other states & gift cards need work).

Once you earn Yums, spend at these restaurants: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane etc.

    Thank you for the effort with the codes. I've only just started on the fork and between this and eat club there is some very good value meals out there.

      Oh yeah, was using that $5 off EatClub deal for like $1 meals. Great offer for a quick takeaway meal if you're by yourself. Liven has some good food dollar deals. Ate at a good Korean place the other day and worked out close to 50% off. Takes a bit more calculating and fiddling around though.

          when you book there is an option to use yum
          so you finalise the booking, then go to eat.
          the bill will be deducted by your yum value

          • Find a restaurant that accepts Yums. Melbourne
          • Make a booking and click that you want to use your Yums.
          • When you are paying for the bill, you'll see $20 or $50 off your bill. Works in a similar way to booking with an % off/special offer.
          • Pay as you would normally in the restaurant.

    Am I getting this right - you need to book and dine twice first before getting $50 off the bill?

    1. Sign up with referral, book and dine. Receive 1000 yums.
    2. Download app and book 2nd dinner with APP22 code, don't use yums yet when paying, receive another 1000 yums.
    3. Book 3rd dinner and use 2000 yums for $50 off.

      You get 2000 1000 Yums. So you've now had 2 bookings, and 3000 2000 Yums total. 2000 Yums = $50 off one booking and $20 off another booking

      Book 3rd dinner and use 2000 yums for $50 off.

      Yes plus you'll still have 1000 Yums left. So your next booking is $20 off (albeit $50 for 2000 YUMS is better value).

    I updated the wiki with some of the venues in Sydney that take the Best Restaurant gift card.
    There are still many more to check. This effort could use a way of extracting the lists of venues from both sites to sort and compare. I didn't see a way to sort alphabetically on either site.

    For new Forkers…..I'm guessing that if you use MELBFOODBABY or PLACESINSYDNEY first on the mobile app, it will kill off APP22 for subsequent use. So I would use APP22 first if you can fit all three into the timeframe, or use MELB and SYDNEY on the desktop and save APP22 for the mobile.

    Edit: If using a referral code first up, use the desktop for that too.

    If we book using the fork website with a special menu at a restaurant that accepts Best Restaurant GCs, is the special menu considered a promotional offer that the BR GC cannot be used with?

        Paying is nothing to do with fork. If the restaurant accepts gift card then you can.

    Where are the codes entered on the website and at what point in the booking process?

    Edit 1: I see a code entry briefly appear on the confirm booking screen, however when I am logged into my account this code entry field is removed quickly.

    Are these influencer codes only able to be used with new accounts? In which case, they wouldn't stack…

    Edit 2: Aha, choose "Change your information" on the booking confirmation screen and then the Offer code becomes visible.
