I'm new to the Vornados and I bought a sm DC one the other day from the warehouse which had a tiny dent on the corner of the box. Based on how happy I was with that purchase I grabbed a medium DC one that popped up yesterday (I was desperate for a good fan).
Overnight the lowest priced black 660 one posted sold but the others dropped further in price. To me, it was worthwhile as I needed a good fan asap but it might not be cheap enough for others, just thought I'd share seeing as they were popping up all of a sudden (probably stock coming in for summer sale and mostly just some damaged boxes amongst them.

I've always been able to return an item if it didn't meet expectations or match the description provided that prompted the purchase.
CS have always been pretty good about that sort of thing and never had an issue returning if need be but I have bought so many "used" items from the warehouse that have been excellent (although there have been disappointments - don't buy hard drives, game controllers etc. they seem to get swapped out for old ones by dodgy returnees) .
Just my 2 cents and maybe not worth much but I thought it was good for me :) - of course YMMV
