Good stuff but.. $90 shipping to Aus for a $100 basket? Not happening.

  • +1

    lol, wow, $90.00…

  • -2

Yes @rarin its true that international shipping isn't as cheap as it probably can be but if you really think about it, you'd probably be forking out more $$ if you buy that kind of stuff here in Aus with all the markups and what not, and plus, I doubt you'd be able to find half the stuff on Karmaloop.com here.

    • +2

      Yes and No..

Locally, you try h item and see how t fits…
If the cart is $100 an $90 shipping then me thinks you can get that item for $190 here and we are also helping out the local economy…

So, Rep, really think about the deal in whole….

Neg based on the shipping rip off…

    • +1

While that is true, it also means I can buy the same thing from other US/UK/eBay sellers for less.

I'm on the Karmaloop mailing list and have wanted to shop there a few times but shipping always killed it.

      • +1

Same here. On the mailing list buy won't be buying anything until shipping costs are more realistic

  • -6

@everyone, it really depends on what you buy of course, you CAN still get a great deal though :)

    • +3

So you are saying depending on what you buy, it's likely you WON'T get a great deal. But there are some bargains to be had?

    • Bought something from karmaloop a while back. They made me send it back which costed like $70. Tried to communicate with the company a minute after for a change of size but accidently put down the wrong size customer service is very slow and item was sent before even reading the email.

  • Do i need to register to find out what the shipping costs are?

Looking to get a pair of Jeans but need to know shipping first.

Perhaps a capped ship would attract more Aussie consumers…

  • PS, I just checked out a pair of shoes and a shirt which was $110 ($150 with shipping).

Added both the above codes and it said "CODES DO NOT EXIST" for both. Neg from me.

  • +2

$20 shipping for two watches, a belt and a shirt. Not too bad IMO. The promo ended up removing $25 so basically just got free shipping.

Obviously if i were to order a pair of shoes or a jacket, the shipping would end up expensive due to the size of the items.

  • Use the Repcode LILOPLEASE for a additional 1% off lol. But yeh, Karmaloop has always had pretty lame international shipping deals, aswell as a excluding certain brands from shipping to Australia (such as Obey, Supra, ETC obviously its not Karmaloops decision but still) I mean, Sites like Urban Outfitters and ASOS offer decent internation shipping prices such as a cap at $20 even free shipping some days. Karmaloop Its time to change your international shipping connections. I wouldnt mind waiting a extra week or so for a cheaper shipping rates such as what Urban Outfitters do. You guys use DHL to ship, they just use USPS and its up to our Australia Post to handle the rest I Think.

What @V-Ate It really depends on what you buy, but usually shipping is a rip off.

i understand everyones concern but as a rep i can't do much i just update you guys on the offers we currently have, but if you guys would like i could inform the people 'higher up' in the chain about the general concern about shipping prices but thank you all for the feedback

    • +1

      heck yes, inform away!

  • Actually, Expensive shipping is only on Kazbah Brands (The independent sellers) and these brands are clearly indicated when you choose items, you can just uncheck Kazbah and you get the karmaloop store items with the relatively cheaper yet FAST shipping (got my shoes and jackets within a week).

so as long as you avoid them, the promo code works perfect (not rep code combined though),Plus from me !

    • does the repcode actually take a percentage off the price? Because it does take the said amount off in any circumstance but i am not sure if it still gives you the same discount when combined with other promo codes.

      • When you apply the Crates code, the rep code combined will only give and additional %1 off

but rep code works by itself for %10 off

        Screenshot proof : http://i.imgur.com/tSmV9.png

        • thank you very much i really appreciate it :) i shall update the thread accordingly

  • I found that if you choose items not in the 'kazbah' section, shipping to Australia is reasonable $34.50

  • Please write a description that is easier to understand in the future.

What the heck is this "up to an additional 50% off on orders above $100"? How is the percentage discount determined? And how is it related to the sale prices written in red on the website? Is that the discount that is on offer? Or is it 50% off the sale prices? Is it 50% off the first $100? Or is it that the red-letter prices only kick in above $100?

Surely, the details of a sale cannot be that difficult to lay out for potential customers.

EDIT: Oh, and it says $8 off international shipments on your website, not 8%

    • im sorry for the misunderstanding but i have just copied this deal straight off our website almost word for word if you are still having problems please go directly to the link and see for yourself
