Sometimes it's nice to just have a keyboard you can just plug in to test something. Don't do much tinkering these days but there have been times where I wished I had a simple USB keyboard lying around.
Yeah but who doesn't have a usb keyboard lying around they can test with? Usb keyboards have been the standard now for 20years, if you don't have one it's because you chucked it. I can guarantee that the one you chucked bwas way better than this.
I had one of these at work and it fortunately was broken.when I got it replaced I aske for the old model with the full travel keys, they are half decent
I didn't have any spare lying around for a long time. The only spare ones I had were PS/2. I didn't have any spare USB keyboards as I have never bought a computer that had a keyboard thrown in. I've always built my PCs myself.
So what about 4.4 star rating?
Won't rcommend this. Tbh. Spend a bit more and get a keyboard that doesn't ghost
Kogan mechanical keyboards with Outemu switches are sometimes sub $20, e.g. last May and June. That was so much better. These are just horrible.
I've bought a few of these in the past, i've noticed the ALT key is like the first to break/get stuck, i wouldnt buy them again tbh. for $9 a basic keyboard to have around would be worth it.
Been using mine for years. But I don't use ALT that much.
I have both Dell KB216 (same as this deal, using for years now) & Kogan Mechanical KB with Outemu blue for $17, which I later changed with retro style PBT keycaps. Honestly I am using KB216 if I have to type something faster/long time.
$17.90?
Using this exact keyboard at work right now…. they work, I'll give them that much.
If you're just after the cheapest wired usb mouse about, your local officeworks should have this $5 keyboard. They also have a matching $3.74 mouse which would come in cheaper than this as a bundle.
And it's probalaly better than this keyboard, which has all the tactile feedback of typing on a plank of wood
these come prepackaged with computers and people throw them out, hence being called e-waste. Unsure why someone would willingly buy one
