I know a new one is about to be released, still, these seem to be pretty good priced.

No way. Who told you?
just a hunch…
Isn’t that the new RRP? I bought the same specs iPhone a year ago at that price.
it's been this price or cheaper for months now. This ain't a bargain
In fact it's cheaper at Officeworks right now
You’re so right

This is the one from before the current one.
That would explain the 12 🤔
It's extremely difficult to recommend this following Telstra's recent iPhone 13 deals.
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/713804
For those who missed it.
Why would you spend the same money you could potentially get an iPhone 13 for?
Absolutely. With the Telstra deal if you spent the same money you got an iPhone 13.
Vodafone are still offering $350 off iPhones. Can get iPhone 13 for sub $1k. Pay off over 12 months. Not to bad.
But…. Vodafone
Is this the version before covid hit? That is going to be collectors edition you know
No this is a covid model. Released a year after the kung flu kicked in. You need a boxed iPhone 11 to be sure it is Rona free…. Even then is the iPhone factory anywhere near wuhan?
Thank you for explaining fellow racist
OP, I feel like maybe you're ozbargain page is some old cached one from 12 months ago and you're a bit behind the times. What's the deal at the top of your page? A $2k video card?
Clicked on the link. One of the features is that it has a durable design. Seriously?
To be fair, that’s true.
4GB of RAM hampers this model more than anyone will admit to. When I owned it I couldn't multi-task out of a single app without it reloading from scratch when switching back. Ever since I bought an iPhone 13 Pro Max 512GB brand new at the Apple store for $1400 9 months ago though, it rarely if ever happens anymore.
Is that to show off you bought an iPhone 13 Pro Max 512GB brand new at the Apple store for $1400 9 months ago? All i devices with 4GB RAM or less are trash now?
If so, iPhone 13 Pro Max is not as fast as M1 Pro or M1 Max laptops workplaces provide to their staff. Multi-tasking on a Macbook Pro 14 or 16 inch is so much better than 13 Pro Max.
iPhone 13 Pro Max - USB 2.0, so fast!!! The reduced notch is so cool, eh?
i agree, the multi-tasking is horrible on my iPhone 12. it doesn't compare to my S21 Ultra at all
Switching between a lot of games, yes. General multi-tasking, I thought even with just 4GB RAM, iPhone 12 is still okay. Majority of the delay I found is actually my slow NBN. 5G is 8X+ faster than my NBN.
I get why people want S21 Ultra, S22 Ultra or iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max. However, I really don't think RAM is the number 1 reason. The main issue with this deal is price. I know a lot of people using inferior phones than iPhone 12 and would love to have an iPhone 12 (but not at this price obviously).
There is no RAM upgrade between iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 13 Pro Max. If 14 Pro Max were to have 8GB RAM, are we going to see complaints that iPhone 12 Pro Max / 13 Pro Max's 6GB not good enough for multi-tasking later this year?
I must not be using it heavily enough - my XS is runs fine - no issues. Battery is saying it needs a service, this year is new-iPhone year for me, so hoping it lasts until then.
If the 13 Pro goes on sale - that will peak my interest, I dont mind buying a (soon to be) older model if it is a good deal. But the 13 Pro is the lowest I'd want to go.
a new one is about to be released
