Isn't that adapter for Thinkpads only? As in the charging port seems like a yellow rectangle which might not be common on other devices?
Maybe this is a better alternative (USB C) - though do these even come with an adaptor to plug the brick part in?

@Bloozzz: 75Hz is still decent for gaming, plus if you increase the res to 1440p you are going to get 75 on a GPU that could output 120 at 1080p anyway.
