LG site says:
High Frame Rate (HFR)[3] - Yes (HDMI: 4K@120fps)I wouldn't buy a TV now days if it couldn't do 4k 120Hz 4.4.4. It's a 100% deal breaker.
That tru motion stuff is inconsistent because sometimes it can do it and sometimes it can’t - I hate it with a passion and always disable it.
I need a new TV.
Doesn't seem to rate to well though.

That’s what she said!
Life's good…
Size matters she reckons
Very good price.
Is this tv good? I did read the RTINGS review but for basic everyday binge watching or casual gaming - this should be fine, right?
IPS panel not very good for movie but casual gaming should be fine and 86" at this price.
Isn't it too big ???
——> That's what she said!!Don't be too fussed on RTings review on this. You're buying 86" for $2500… so you need to understand its screen real estate you are buying for the price.
If you want 86" AND good reviews/features, you'll need to spend more. Much more.I purchased a 86" base level Samsung about 18m ago. I remember being concerned about the reviews on that one too. For a basic big screen TV and from a reputable brand (LG Samsung etc), you can't go wrong for $2500.
If you want more bells and whistles, but don't want to spend more, you'll have to drop screen size. And to be perfectly honest, you WILL NOT see the difference in image quality on day to day use. You WILL however see the difference in size. 86" is damn nice to watch TV on :).
What's the actual refresh rate on this? Not the bs "200 Tru Motion Rate"
I assume 100hz as it has VRR?
