  • going off the comments in the last post and from what the link is showing atm, do you want to clarify the values are including gst or excluding?

    • -3

      Excluding GST

      • +12

Ozbargain is not a b2b platform - should update to reflect prices inc gst as per the feedback in last post

  • We are happy for you to pay $195.80.

    • How about $331.10?

      • -1

I just edited the ad, as i made a mistake. Current Regular price is $301.00 + gst. Website sale is $199.00 + Gst.
        Ozbargins deal $150.00 + gst

  • Will it survive if some idiot backs into it while up?

    • +3

Yes it will fold over and an alarm will sound. They are not designed as a impact bollard. They are a deterrent.

  • "Height When Down: 75mm"
    No good for the racecar
    .

    • +1

Yes not designed for a race car, correct.

  • +1

OP please run a spellcheck through your ad.

"Remote Control And Mobile Phone Control With Fee Mobil App."

    • Yeah thanks,

  • No idea but looks like something that can be stolen

    • was thinking the same thing. does this need to be fixed to the ground?

      • It is bolted to the ground with 4 x bolts, also the cover is locked with a key. the blue cover is also steel.

      • +2

the key is to actually slap it after you secure it down with $40 of Sika, and loudly declare ' yep , she ain't goin anywhere '

    • +3

Who is surprised at anything Wilkinson would do; she's the embodiment of hypocrisy and self entitlement

    • -1

      Does this now work?

      • Yes thank you.

You should probably update your website too… But that's entirely up to you of course.

    • Good find!

    • Did you missing the shipping?

MOQ is 100 as well. This is pretty typical retail mark up.

      • Does anyone have experience with Alibaba shipping? Obviously the $14k it shows me can't be right. Anyone have ballpark?

Edit add: Seems like an interesting product. I'm surprised unit parking lots in cities aren't full of them.

        • I bought a manual one for our other unit. People started parking in our spot when we moved out (keeping the unit and not renting it out).
This product would have been wonders. I'm still thinking about purchasing it since I or my partner don't have to get out of the car and lower the bollard that I installed when we visit that unit.

        • 100 of these is probably 1/4 to 1/2 a container or there abouts? At these volume, you are looking at freight companies rather than post or couriers. But the prices will be largely due to the 2-3 weeks delivery. If you can wait for a couple of months, it will probably be much much cheaper.

      • Apparently they normally sell these for $331. $165 is their "special" price, which doesn't look like a deal.

      • -1

Finally some one who has an idea.

    • +3

Fellas (and ladies) I wasn't showing it was a no deal. I was merely showing it's a good profit margin. Obviously my link is for a minimum order of 100.

    • -8

Go ahead. You seem to know what your doing.

  • -2

What would you say is a deal?

  • A$50 can buy a better one in Taobao, plus an A$1.6/kg sea ship fee

    • +1

      Link?

    • -5

      Good luck mate.

      • Your response have been real shi11y. I was honestly thinking of buying one just for convenience, even though knowing if I spent some time, I could find cheaper alternative. But you can GFY with the responses you've given.

        • +1

Yep, OP ain't doing themselves any favors.

Its obviously going to be cheap to buy from China directly, but you need to take the associated risks.

OP being an Australian retailer does provide additional value to the table with their markup, but "additional" value here as a local retailer is primarily customer service and support. Given OP's attitude here, I doubt there will be much service and support if anything goes awry. So whats the point of buying local?

  • -2

Good luck in your endeavors to find a bargain.

    • +1

umm WOW. How not to OZB 101.

  • -3

    Move on Buddy.

  • this seemed like an interesting product but damn, the snarky customer "service" in this thread (and that's being generous) is a huge turn off.

    • Sorry we hurt your feeling. Its hard for an honest business to put up a good deal without every keyboard warrier saying they can find better. For the couple of dicks we deal with in these comments it is no real issue. More comical then anything.

The people who seen the value made the phone call and purchased the product. What a success it has been already.

Had a good old laugh on the phone to about these comments.
