    Great !

I can now look for my computer from the 1990s and add sound to it

This is also nice if you get stuck with a PC that only has a combo-port and you have old school headset/mic as I use.

@altomic, can you check the actual make of it in device manager & post it here? Wondering if it works w/Linux.

    Ta!

      Haha Linux.
      Worth a try for $2

        Haha Linux

        What’s exactly is funny?

        • I've played with Linux distros for over 20 years now, really just for the technical challenge. Windows for day to day though.
Getting the files to run peripherals has always been fun and sometimes requires trial and error.

    • Works fine in Pop OS. Shows up as "PCM 2902"

      Support window 7/8/10 or above

Well linux is definitely above all of these so my guess is that you will be fine! :)

In the 2000s these were used for cheap DJ setups, giving you a second sound card.

No idea if people still do that.

Could be useful for a sim racing set up (or similar) that requires a separate soundcard for bass shakers

    • Hey I was wondering what the application for this might be and your idea is exactly what Im trying to achieve.

I want the main game audio into my headphones, but low end rumble (impacts etc) to a bass shaker.

This device could help achieve that?

      • Definitely

  • Thanks OP will pick one up tomorrow.

  • $2 worth of sound aint a lot

Pretty useful for the pi400 that only outputs sound through micro HDMI

    "I wish it was USB-C"

  • Sound Blastor?

  • Can be useful with PCs placed on the floor. Pair this with a USB Extension Cord and you'll have Mic and Headphone/Speaker Out within easy reach.

    • Or just use an AUX extension cable…

      • 2 AUX extension cables. 1 for Mic In and another for Speaker/Headphone Out.

        Both will work.

  • Works on PS4 and PS5, can't complain!!

  • can you pair this with AUX Bluetooth adapter
