  • $24.30 with S&S. It's 10% discount, not 15%

      Says $22.95 in the app

    • Says 15% for me.

      • Whack, I'm getting stitched up. Thanks for correction, Bezo's must not like me after the 2x $0.70 Reece's chocolate bar purchases 😂

  • Showing $22.95 for me in the app…wonder if that has anything to do with it?

Thank you, that solved it! Was logged into my secondary account on my tablet and didn't realise. 15% applied on my main

Cheers for resolving that mate, will update details.

  • My baby isn’t up to size 2 yet.
I bought 192 pack for $37.50 on prime.
Does it often go to that price?

    • Nev r had an issue with them. How or when did you find that price? I think best I’ve found is around $46.

      • Sorry, it was prime day

  • About to be a new parent. Amazon reviews on these nappies aren’t great. Should I be concerned?

    • Do you know if supermarket ones are not made in China?

      • The aldi ones and little ones at woolies are Australian made

        • I meant huggies. Amazon reviews saying these huggies are low quality (and CN made) compared to same huggies at supermarkets.

          • @Mazozb: Yeah, that’s what I’m also interested in knowing. How much are the Aldi ones per nappy? Are they any better than Huggies?

            • +2

@SirFrankGrimes: We've got a newborn, and found these huggies to be much better than the Aldi ones. They are more absorbent, and do a much better job at containing "messes", which can be a real life saver

              • +2

@RMBC: We've tried a few and found Huggies superior to Aldi and others. Seem to be thicker & more absorbent.

@Ham Dragon: Agreed; I'd just clarify by saying the red boxed huggies are on par with Aldi, the green ones linked here are definitely much better

                  • @RMBC: TBH I didn't know there was a difference, have always purchased them in a green box - from Amazon or Colesworth.

                    • +1

@Ham Dragon: Nor did we until we made that mistake, just thought it was different packaging and smaller sizes as the larger green boxes were out of stock.

    • Used these on my 2.5 yr old, and will be using them again on my incoming newborn.

They are the same as the ones from the supermarket (at least as far as I can tell).

As they get older, transition to the Aldi nappies which are cheaper and 'good enough'. For the early days, the Huggies are better with less wet throughs/blow outs.

Additional advice - get a box or two of size 1, but stock up moreso on size 2. Many babies don't last long in size 1 (some skip them completely) and you don't want to be stuck with a bunch of nappies you can't use. Highly dependent on the baby of course.

      • How many boxes of the 96-pack should I 'stock up on' for a new baby?

        • Tough one! I think size 2 were probably what I went through the most. I don't think you would waste any if you got say half a dozen boxes. Don't quote me on that though!

          • @loksmack: Ok cool. Thank you :)

I'll grab a few boxes and go from there

            • @SirFrankGrimes: We have a 15 week old & she's going through 7-10 a day still. As a newborn it was 9-12 daily.
